Final Fantasy 16sales weren’t as strong as expected, so it seems somewhat surprising that Square Enix wouldn’t want to get it on the Switch 2. However, it also makes a great deal of sense to focus on more surefire hits likeFinal Fantasy 7 RemakeandRebirth.Final Fantasy 7remains the most popular iteration of the franchise, and so it stands to reason that the remake games would do very well on the Switch 2.
