Poppy Playtime: Chapter 4is as much a puzzle game as it isa story-focused horror experience. This part of the game puts the onus on the player, asking them to solve puzzles in high stress situations. This can be quite fun and engaging at times, but it can end up being a chore if the player can’t figure out a specific portion of the puzzle.
One of the ways thatPoppy Playtimecan stump players is through the various code sections within the fourth chapter. There are a total of four sections that require gamers to input numerical codes in order to progress further, all of which come equipped with some clues to help the player along the way.
Poppy Playtime: Hangman Riddle & The Prison Terminal Code
The first time that players will encounter the need for a code inPoppy Playtimeis after they find the red hand that gives them a higher security clearance, letting them access new areas that progress the story further. In the control room,players will see a white board next to the terminalthat asks for a 4 digit input.
The way players can decipher this puzzle on their own is by looking at the hangman game on the white board, which tells them that the answer is CELL. Looking at the assignment list and the corresponding numbers to those letters, you may come up with the answer, which is3255.
Poppy Playtime: Red Gas Chamber & The Calendar Puzzle Code
After the player goes through the prison cell section of the game, wherethe entire chamber fills up with red gas, they will end up in a control room where a very similar input computer is present. This time, the clue is present in the form of a calendar on the right side of the room.
At the bottom of the calendar, the note tells you to check the “CAGE,” which is the answer to the puzzle. The key can be found by looking at the letters assigned to different dates on the calendar and arranging the numbers that correspond to CAGE. This will give you the answer, which is3642.
Poppy Playtime: Prison Yard Tower Puzzle Code
Once players reach the Prison Yardalongside Doey, they’ll find their path blocked by a large door that refuses to budge no matter what. To unlock the door, players need to find a latch that is located inside a safe in one of the four towers on the four corners of the yard.
The key to solving this puzzle is the numbers and colors on each of the towers. The answer is a four-digit number, and there are four towers. Each tower has a specific color and number painted on it. Each tower also has a two-digit number associated with it.Only consider the last number of each tower as the hint. Match the color key given on the white board next to the locker with the associated numbers to arrive at3021, the number you need.
Poppy Playtime: Secondary Labs Anatomy Puzzle Code
The Secondary/Anatomy Labs puzzleis one of the most frustrating puzzles inPoppy Playtimeif the player doesn’t know the trick to solving it. All you have to do is follow the voice whenever it gets loud. There are five numbers associated with five toys, all scattered in the toxic maze that surrounds the lab. Whenever the player gets close to a toy, the voice starts getting louder.
As such, the key to solving this puzzle is to go through the maze while keeping an ear out. Once players find the numbers associated with each toy, they need to use the anatomy chart as the key, match the missing limb of each of the toys with the numbering in the anatomy chart to get the order. Then, they can use the last digit from each of the toys' associated number to input the code, which is35198.
