Freedom Wars Remasteredlets players equip two weapons of their choice before going into an Operation. Of the six weapon types, you can choose any combination of weapons you wish tobuild your characterto fit whatever play style you want.
Of the six weapon types, some have unique effects that occur when they charge up. There are three gun weapons and three melee weapons, with every weapon being customizable. Here are the six main weapon types and what makes them unique.

There are six weapon types in total, and you’ll be able to get new weapons by completing operations or bypurchasing from the store Zakka in The Warren. While you can’t choose theweapons of your Comrades, you can equip your Accessory however you’d like. You can change your weapons or the weapon of your accessory at any time, with there being no benefit or penalty for switching your weapons often or using the same ones. The six weapon types are:
Traits
Light Melee
Quick attacks that are good for faster playstyles and only hitting one enemy.
Heavy Melee
Wide arcing attacks that deal a lot of damage.
Well-placed attacks canhit multiple limbs of Abductorsto deal multiplied damage as if hitting them multiple times.
Charged attacks can also launch you in the air at the end of your combo.

Slightlyslows your movement speedwhen equipped.
Polearm
Most attacks have you charge through enemies to keep you moving away from incoming attacks.
Charged-up attacks will throw your polearmfor huge amounts of damage from a safe range.

Assault Weapons
High total ammo carry capacity making it ideal as a primary weapon for gun-focused builds.
Can beshot when grappled with your Thorneletting you get better angles or shoot from a safe distance.

Portable Artillery
High single-shot damage with a low overall ammo carry capacity.
Explosive AOE shotsthat can also hit multiple limbs to deal more damage at once.
Slows your movement speedwhen equipped.
Autocannons
High rate of fire with a large ammo capacityand magazine size.
Individual shots don’t deal a lot of damage but the high rate of fire greatly makes up for that.

Unlike the player, your accessory won’t have to worry about ammo when using gun weapons.
