Round-based Zombies has made its return inBlack Ops 6, reintroducing many classic features that fans have come to love over the years. Its debut inBlack Ops 6also brings a variety of diverse maps, introduced through seasonal updates, along withchallenging Easter Egg queststhat require a bit of grinding to complete.
Of course, many features from previous entries in the series have carried over intoBlack Ops 6Zombies. One such feature is the customizable loadout system, which allows players tofine-tune their weapon builds for the best possible loadouts. With that in mind, here arethe top attachments that players should consider including in their loadouts.

Best Muzzle Attachments
Suppressor
For pretty much every weapon inBlack Ops 6 Zombies, the Suppressor should be the main go-to Muzzle attachment. The Suppressor has the unique ability toincrease the chances of acquiring Salvagefrom eliminated zombies, a perk that will prove useful in the long run. Salvage is the currencyused to purchase items from the Crafting Bench, and can also beused at The Arsenal Machinestopurchase Ammo Mods and upgrade weapon rarity.
Compensator
While the Suppressor is without a doubt the go-to Muzzle for Zombies specifically, if players find thata particular weapon boasts a lot of vertical recoil, then the Compensator can come in handy. While players may not need to be heavily reliant on pinpoint accuracy in the mode, keeping recoil down to a minimumcan begreat for farming critical killson a train of zombies with ease.
Ported Compensator
Muzzle Brake
Both the Ported Compensator and the Muzzle Brake fail to bring anything of value inBlack Ops 6 Zombiesin particular. While a couple of weapon classes, particularly weapons boasting a semi-auto or burst fire mode, may benefit from either one’s first-shot recoil control boost, there areplenty of other attachments that boost overall accuracyto a far greater degree for most weapon classes.
Best Barrel Attachments
CHF Barrel
The CHF Barrel is easily the best attachment of its category, thanks to its ability to dish outincreased headshot damage. This damage boost is universal for all enemies in Zombies, including critical spots on Elites like Manglers and Amalgams. Dishing out increased critical damage is a big plus fortaking out enemies quickly, and works wonders when paired with Deadshot Daquiri and its critical damage boosting Augments.
Long Barrel
While the CHF Barrel is the number one barrel to use, it does not offer the same benefits for Snipers as it does for other weapons. Additionally, some specific weapons, like the Sirin 9mm, lack a CHF Barrel as an available attachment. In these rare cases, the Long Barrel serves as a good alternative, boosting the weapon’s effective damage range.
Gain Twist Barrel
Reinforced Barrel
Just like in Multiplayer, both the Gain Twist Barrel and the Reinforced Barrel are two attachments that players may be better off not using. For both Multiplayer and Zombies, bullet velocity is a relatively useless stat to boost, as, for the most part, enemies are going to be within hitscan range by default. If players want to boost damage range for either modes, the better alternative is the Long Barrel.
Vertical Foregrip (Weighted Pad/Weighted Handguard)
Ranger Foregrip (Ranger Pad/Ranger Handguard)
For the most part, both of the above attachments can be used interchangeably. The Vertical Foregrip and equivalent attachments providethe biggest boost in recoil control, making it a favorable attachment for those running both Rapid Fire and the CHF Barrel. For anadded boost in sprint movement speed, however, the Ranger Foregrip is a decent option.
Underbarrels/Stock Pads To Avoid
Lightweight Foregrip (Lightweight Handguard/Lightweight Pad)
While reduced idle sway does provide a neat boost in accuracy, specifically for scoped weapons like Sniper Rifles, it’s overall afairly redundant stat for most weapons. As such, players are better off boosting recoil control with either the Ranger or Vertical Foregrip and other equivalent attachments.
Marksman Foregrip (Marksman Handguard/Marksman Pad)
Aim-down-sight focus is another neat benefit that primarily benefits Sniper Rifle users. However, much like aiming idle sway, boosting this particular attribute over recoil control in zombies doesn’t provide a significant advantage.
Best Magazine Attachments
Extended Magazine
Out of all the magazine attachments, Extended Magazines stand out as the top choice due to their increased ammo capacity. Ideally, it’s better to opt for the largest magazine available for each gun, as thisprovides the biggest boost in ammunitionwhen the weapon is Pack-a-Punched. While using these magazines may reduce the weapon’s reload speed, acquiring Speed Cola can mitigate this drawback by significantly speeding up reload times.
Fast Magazine
Flip Mag
With the Speed Cola Perk being easily accessible on all Zombies maps, and considering that other attachments can boost both ADS speed and sprint-to-fire speed, equipping a Fast Magazine or Flip Mag is largely redundant.Additionally, some Fast Mags reduce the weapon’s magazine size, making it even less appealing. As a result, there’s little reason to forgo an Extended Magazine.
Best Rear Grip/Comb Attachments
Commando Grip/Commando Riser Comb
When it comes to the Rear Grip/Comb attachment slot, players have a lot of freedom, as none of the attachments in this category are inherently bad. However, one of the best options is the Commando Grip/Commando Riser Comb. The Commando Grip/Commando Riser Combprovides a moderate boost to both aim-down-sight and sprint-to-fire speeds.Since players are typically mobile in Zombies, and a quicker aim-down-sight speed is often a favored attribute, moderately enhancing both handling stats is ideal.
No Stock/Light Stock
Balanced Stock
The Light Stock, No Stock, and Balanced Stock attachments are all excellent in their own right, each offering significant boosts to general mobility. The Balanced Stock stands out for its added focus on improving the player’s speed while aiming down sights. Any of these attachments can be used interchangeably, so players shouldopt for the one that provides the greatest mobility boostfor their specific weapon.
Heavy Stock
Combat Stock
Both the Heavy Stock and Combat Stock aim toreduce flinch when taking incoming damage. While this may seem beneficial on the surface, it’s relatively redundant in Zombies. Players primarily engage enemies in close-quarters combat, and with Parasites being the only enemies capable of ranged attacks, making use of reduced flinch resistance isn’t all too useful.
Steady Aim Laser
Fast Motion Laser
Much like the Rear Grip category, there isn’t an inherently bad Laser attachment. However, two of the top options for most weapons are the Steady Aim Laser and the Fast Motion Laser, both of which improve hipfire accuracy. The choice between them ultimately depends on play style. If players primarily sprint around the map, the Steady Aim Laser is the better option. On the other hand, for those who frequently slide, dive, or jump, the Fast Motion Laser is the ideal pick.
Target Laser
While both the Steady Aim Laser and Fast Motion Laser are solid choices, the Target Laser isthe top pick for Sniper Rifles specifically. Its ability to delay aiming idle sway when aiming down sights significantly enhances the accuracy of Sniper Rifles, particularly during the initial moments of scoping in.
Best Fire Mod Attachments
Rapid Fire
Rapid Fire is single-handedly the best Fire Mod players can run in Zombies, thanks tothe boost it provides in overall DPS.For automatic weapons especially, this attachment is a must-have, and once combined with the CHF Barrel, Deadshot Daquiri, and its Augments, players can maximize their overall damage output for even the toughest of boss fights.
Recoil Springs
The main downside of Rapid Fire is its negative impact on overall recoil control, and while there are quite a few attachments that can mitigate this drawback, some weapons already boast a high amount of recoil by default. If players find that their recoil is pretty difficult to control in Zombies, then throwing on the Recoil Springs canhelp them stay on target.
Fire Mods To Avoid
NATO Overpressured
As mentioned in the Barrels section, players diving into Zombieswill not benefit all too much by boosting bullet velocityon their weapons. As all enemies are generally within hitscan range, it’s better to focus more on boosting weapon damage and general DPS instead.
Weapons inBlack Ops 6Zombies can support up to eight attachments by default.
