When Kise Ryouta was first introduced inKuroko’s Basketball, it was established that he was a model, with girls from all over the school flocking to watch him. But, he soon proved himself to be more than just a pretty face — he had serious skills.
Kise does have a playful persona, but it quickly becomes clear that he cares about the competition and winning. He is a character that develops into a true prodigy, with his ability to copy other peoples' moves proving to be needed at his school. Kyoko Mogami did everything for her boyfriend, but later finds out that he doesn’t care for her and only considers her as some sort of maid. Disappointed, hurt, and angry, she storms off, vowing to get her revenge on her boyfriend by becoming a star herself.
They say that the best way to exact revenge is to be successful, and Kyoko works toward this goal. As she continues to hone her craft as an actress, Kyoko starts to truly enjoy her craft. Her character has several humorous moments, and she more or less carries the show. Interestingly,the manga forSkip Beatis still ongoing.
As far as celebrities go, Ai Hoshino fromOshi No Kois an embodiment of some of the philosophies of that life. Ai is an idol who doesn’t just love her fans, but loves them endlessly. For a character who is around for quite a short time, her impact is remarkable.
Ai’s search for family, and her understanding of life and its meaning, is fascinating to behold. As someone who doesn’t have a family of her own, her reaction of delight to being pregnant with twins is captivating. Her ability to straddle being an idol and actor is impressive — she believed that being an idol required her to lie, and she did with gusto. Yet, she truly loved what she did — and the people who supported her. Ai was a high point ofOshi No Ko, and many would simply have wished to see more of her.
In the world ofMy Hero Academia,heroes are reveredand celebrated. They are even considered celebrities due to their incredible feats of heroism and courage. The most powerful hero of his era was All Might, who would eventually pass his powers to series protagonist, Deku.
All Might had a grand vision that he was able to pull off: be so overwhelmingly powerful that villains wouldn’t even bother to perpetuate evil. For the most part, he was successful and was even considered the symbol of peace.
