Players are already familiar with the Remembrance path as apart of the Simulated Universe, particularly for its focus on freezing enemies and controlling the battlefield. Interestingly, with the massive version 3.0 update ofHonkai: Star Rail,the Remembrance path becomes available as a playable character path as well. Unlike its primary utility in the Simulated Universe, as a playable path, Remembrance focuses on summoning units to the field, similar toJing Yuan’s Lightning Lord. These summons offer diverse utilities, whether for dealing damage or providing support functions.
In the newest iteration of the Trailblazer, now as an Ice Remembrance character, their primary role is to charge their summon, Mem. Mem allows allies to deal True DMG but is particularly notable for its support capabilities, as it can advance the target ally’s actions and provide them with additional Crit Rate and Crit DMG. This makes Trailblazer a support-focused unit within this new path. However, because this is a fresh path, light cone options that align perfectly with the Trailblazer’s kit are initially limited.
Players should avoid prioritizing damage-oriented light cones, such asSweat Now, Cry Less(4-star light cone),Geniuses' Greetings(4-star light cone), orTime Woven Into Gold(Aglaea’s signature 5-star light cone), as these do not complement the Trailblazer’s supportive playstyle. Instead, here are the best light cone options to consider and the reasons they stand out inHonkai: Star Rail.

The best light cone option for Remembrance Trailblazer is fortunately anentirely F2P-friendlyone:Victory In a Blink, available through the Light Cone Manifest Store in the Forgotten Hall. This accessibility ensures that players can easily acquire and even max superimpose it, provided they have sufficient currency. While increasing the Crit DMG of the Trailblazer might not be particularly significant given their role as a support unit, the light cone’s secondary effect—boosting ally targets' DMG dealt for three turns—proves highly valuable and synergizes perfectly with Mem’s support-focused abilities.
Overall, Victory In a Blink stands out as both the most resource-friendly and effective choice for Remembrance Trailblazer among currently available light cone options. However, for those unable to obtain it immediately, there are two other viable alternatives, though they may perform slightly below par in comparison.

Shadowburnisn’t an entirely bad option for Remembrance Trailblazer, as it can prove convenient for slightly speeding up battles. Its most notable advantage is its ability to recover askill pointand generate Energy for Trailblazer when Mem is first summoned. This effect can be particularly beneficial in shorter battles or in content where efficiency is critical, such as clearing within a limited number of turns. By accelerating the energy gain, Shadowburn helps fill Mem’s charge faster, allowing players to utilize Mem’s abilities more promptly.
However, the light cone’s biggest downside lies in the fact that its effect only triggers when Mem is initially summoned. This limitation means its utility drops significantly in longer battles or content that stretches beyond 2–3 turns, making it less ideal for sustained encounters. For such cases, players might find other light cone options more reliable and effective.

If players lack access to higher-tier light cones or wish to boost the DMG of Mem and Remembrance Trailblazer,Reminiscenceas a 3-star light cone could be a viable option. While the 4-star and 5-star light cones mentioned earlier primarilyfocus on Basic ATK DMGor Crit Rate—neither of which significantly benefits Mem or Trailblazer—the DMG dealt increase from Reminiscence can offer some value for its low investment.
That said, reaching full stacks with Reminiscence can take up to four turns, as the stacks of both the memosprite (Mem) and the wearer (Trailblazer) are calculated separately. This means its full potential becomes noticeable only in longer battles. Unlike Shadowburn, which has immediate but short-lived utility, Reminiscence provides a delayed benefit, making it more suited for sustained encounters rather than quick clears. For players without better alternatives, it can still offer a modest but worthwhile boost.
