Summary
Fracture is one of themost polarizing maps inValorant.Either players love to get this map or they just cuss Riot Games for creating Fracture. It has a very unique design with a zipline in the middle of the map. Traditionally, the spawn points for teams are at the opposite ends of the map. However, in Fracture, defenders spawn in the middle area which connects both sites.
Attackers also have the advantage of a zipline, through which they can approach a site from 2 different sides. Riot Games created this map for fast-paced action, which is why it is very crucial for players to pick the perfect team comp, as enemy teams can capitalize on a single hole in the team comp.

Sova is theking of the Initiator classwith most abilities focused on scouting areas. He is preferably picked as the main initiator on most of the maps. However, Breach already has that spot fixed, so other initiators fill in for the flex role, and among them, Sova is the better one. His Recon Bolt is great for locating enemy positions, which helps other agents to use their abilities more precisely. There are some blindspots which Recon Dart misses and which can be easily scouted with the help of the Owl Drone. It is a much better tool to scout, as players can see a much wider area through which their team can strategize their moves.
Other than that, Shock Bolts and Hunter’s Fury are great tools for clearing angles and in post plant situations. In addition to Sova, players can also prefer Gekko or Tejo as their flex pick. Tejo brings good firepower, which is always welcome, and Gekko is a versatile agent. Players can also pick Sage orJett to fill in the 5th position.

As mentioned earlier, Fracture favors fast-paced action, and who is thebetter controller suited for this stylethan Brimstone? With Viper and Harbor struggling to find their places in the meta, Brimstone has completely thrown them out, especially in Fracture. Brimstone is the only agent 3 traditional smokes. It helps to cover a wide area and these are also very easy places on the map. With his Stim Beacon, teammates can quickly burst into the site to support their duelist while they hold the area taken. Brimstone’s Incendiary molly is also very helpful in post-plant situations or halting the push while defending.
His lineups are very easy to learn and players can hone multiple in their bag. Finally, his ult, Orbital Strike, provides unparalleled value on this map. With smaller sites, the Orbital Strike can cover much wider areas, making it harder for players to run to safety while defusing it. There are also many areas, such as Tower on B, which are better to use ult on, as the enemy can’t easily escape there, and there will be one less thing to worry about while both retaking the site or pushing the area.

Riot Games blew in a new life in Cypher with the 7.09 patch update, and he jumped from being an average toS tier Sentinel. As mentioned earlier, Fracture mainly has 2 entry points to enter a site, making it easier for attackers to pinch the site from both sides to put the pressure. This is where Cypher comes in. With his tripwire and cage, he can hold down sites from both entry points and slow down the push.

On the A main, players can easily create 1-way setups which will make opponents use their utilities to destroy traps which, in turn, will make their push less effective. There are also multiple ways to create setups on B site with either wire on stairs, main, tower or arcade. This way, players can mix and match things to surprise opponents. While attacking, since Cypher’s abilities are not range-restricted, he can easily lurk behind enemy lines, and catch the enemy’s flank.
Even though Jett is a great option to use Fracture thanks to her prowess at sniping,Razeedges her outwith her more dynamic kit. There are multiple corners and chokes on Fracture. Raze can easily flush out enemies with her Paint Shell and Boombot to avoid any pesky moves from enemies.
In addition, a well-seasoned Raze player can move more fluidly and quickly with satchels, making her a better option than often a one-trick pony Jett. She can easily burst out of chokes and take space by capitalizing on the Breach’s abilities. Like Breach, Raze can also stall pushes while on defense, providing much more value. On top of that, this tight map is also great for using Showstopper and there is a very low chance of any “Roza” incidents.

If there’s an agent that is amust-pick on Fracture, then it is Breach. Fracture is a playground specially designed for Breach with long vertical lanes and objects placed throughout the map. Fracture might seem a smaller map, however, its long lanes make it perfect for sniping and agents like Jett and Chamber flourish on this map. Breach can easily counter any sniping enemy with the Fault Line ability to let the duelists easily peek or even capitalize and take out the enemy.
There are so many places and objects like Radianite crates through which Breach can easily flash and peek to take a kill. Since the bombsites are quite small on Fracture, Breach’s ultimate ability, Rolling Thunder, can easily flush out enemies and is perfect for both executing sites on attack, and retaking while defending. He also functions as a semi-sentinel with all his abilities. So, without giving thought, players should pick Breach on Fracture.
