A noble person and a 3rd class junior Magic Knight of the Black Bull squad, Noelle Silva is a prominent character in the Black Clover series. Just like the main characters such as Asta and Yuno, Noelle undergoes a lot of development throughout the plot of Black Clover. Initially, she struggles with controlling her magic because of the pressure from her family.
But she eventually masters her abilities and is even able to acquire a contract with Undine, the spirit of water, and later with Leviathan, a powerful sea god, making her even more powerful. She also eventually became a member of the Royal Knights squad, who were specifically chosen by Augustus Kira Clove XIII, the current king of the Clover Kingdom.

Her Water Magic Only Keeps Growing Stronger
Noelle is initially seen to be an arrogant and pompous individual, caring less for those around her. She is also seen to have difficulty accepting her faults, however she gradually learns to accept her mistakes and grows to become a powerful mage after she had joined the Black Bull. Born with royal blood, Noelle possesses an immense amount of mana, which makes her a prodigy from the very beginning, even though she does not realize it. Joining the Black Bulls was the turning point in her life, as that is when she learned toeffectively use her water magic abilities. Inspired by Asta’s unwavering resolve, Noelle also overcomes her insecurities and pushes herself forward, showing her family and fellow magic knights what she is capable of, surprising them in the process.

Noelle uses a three-leaf grimoire to amplify her water-based magic as well as a wand which helps her keep her magical powers in check. As she grows to become a powerful magic knight, Noelle’s biggest power ups comes from when she gets the Valkyrie Armor. The Valkyrie Armor increases her speed as well as greatly improves her offensive and defensive attacks. The Armor acts as a shield to protect her from magical attacks as well as increases her physical attacks. Along with this armor, she acquires a lance which she can use to attack enemies with.

Harnessing The Power Of Water Magic
The use of water magic came naturally to Noelle, but it took her time to harness this power. Water magic gives her the magical attribute to manipulate water, and she is initially seen shooting water balls at her enemies. With water magic comes multiple variations of this ability. Once Noelle had a strong grasp on her water magic, she was able to unleash magic such as true water magic, where she uses her natural mana to generate real water. Later on, she is also able to use creation magic,which gives her the ability to form objectsand entities such as dragons with the use of water. Reinforcement Magic gives Noelle the ability to increase her physical abilities during a battle.
Once Noelle reaches an even more powerful stage, she is given the opportunity to absorb a water spirit known as Undine, with this magic, Noelle is able to enter a state known as the Saint Stage Mage which amplifies her water magic even more, allowing her to match and surpass Vanica Zogratis a member of Spade Kingdom’s Dark Triad,, and the host of a powerful devil - Megicula. Noelle became so powerful that she was able tosuccessfully destroy Megicula’s heart. After the contract between Noelle and Undine was severed, Noelle was able to form a contract with a legendary sea dragon known as Levithan who was worshiped as the Sea God. Levithan then becomes Noelle’s familiar lending her his powers, making her an unstoppable force of water magic and one of the strongest characters in the Black Clover series.
