The Tomb makes itsdebut inBlack Ops 6Season 2, serving as the fourth Zombies map for players to explore. Those venturing into The Tomb for the first time can progress through its main Easter Egg quest, face off against terrifying foes, and uncover all the secrets the map has to offer in its full glory.
When first diving into The Tomb, players may want to upgrade their arsenal by acquiring powerful, unique weapons like the Staff of Ice. However, one of the most critical steps is activating the Pack-a-Punch Machine. Without it, players will struggle to fend off even the weakest zombies in later rounds. Here’swhere to find and activate the Pack-a-Punch in The Tomb.
Opening The Doorway To Nowhere
To get to the Pack-a-Punch, players must firstreach and open the doorway to Nowhere, an obscure location whose entrance will be marked on the tac map upon loading into The Tomb. There are two main pathways that players can take to reach this location from the spawn area (Dig Site). Either pathway works, but we took the following route:
Pack-a-Punch Dark Aether Nexus Location
Once there, players canhead straight to a glowing purple altarjust ahead of the Subterranean Temple’s entrance. Here, they caninteract with the altar to place the Obscurus Altilium Amulet, obtained bycompleting the Citadelle Des Morts Easter Egg.
Doing soopens a gateway to Nowherejust ahead of the altar, which players canenter by approaching and pressing the interact button.
Once through the doorway, players will find themselves within the Dark Aether Nexus. ThePack-a-Punch is located just beyond the entranceto the Dark Aether Nexus and is already active, allowing players to upgrade their weapons immediately—provided they have enough Essence.
Pack-a-Punch Dig Site Location
While the Pack-a-Punch typically resides in the Dark Aether Nexus, it will occasionallymove to the Dig Site, located just ahead of two brass bull statues.Its location can be tracked on the map, making it fairly easy to find for those looking to upgrade their weapons further.
