Summary

Boruto: Two Blue Vortexhas proven to be quite an exciting series, and certainly a major step up from the first series. The previousBorutoseries, although exciting, had its ups and downs, especially towards the end, where it started losing steam and, at the same time, left the fans largely disappointed. Two Blue Vortexhas breathed new life into the franchise, and although it is still not as good as fans want it to be, it is a major step up and move in the right direction. There are many exciting plot points inBoruto: Two Blue Vortexat the moment, and the intensity is higher than ever before.

Given that the author has given major power-ups to the main characters, and introduced powerful villains as well, there are likely going to be many chaotic battles, and these battles will certainly breed more deaths. Fans will most definitely get to see major deaths moving forward, especially the characters who were a major part of the Naruto series, meaning things are only goingto get darker with Boruto.

The Inevitable Deaths To Come In Boruto

There are a lot of characters that are inevitably going to die in theBorutoseries. The first part of the series did not shy away from this, even though no major character ended up dying. However, this could be to mirror the Naruto series. In the first part, not a lot of deaths took place. The vast majority of the deaths in the Naruto series came during the second part of the story, and it is highly likely theTwo Blue Vortexis going to head down that path.

A shinobi’s true worth is measured not by how he lives, but by how he dies. – Jiraiya

Kakashi After Losing His Mangekyo

There are a lot of characters that are definitely going to die inBoruto: Two Blue Vortex, and this has already been foreshadowed in a way in the story. As fans know, prophecies are extremely important in theBorutoseries, and Momoshiki’s words already spell doom for many characters. He made it clear to Boruto that he would lose everything in the future and that is precisely what happened with Omnipotence. But, he also stated that the future is going to be incredibly grim for him, which implies thatBorutowill go on to lose people in his life. Who these people are going to be, fans do not know at this point in time.

When speaking of the characters that are likely going to die, one has to establish which characters are safe and which are not. For one, characters such as Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki, are most certainly safe. They are the main characters and they’re certainly not going to die. Then, some characters are likely to die, such as Kawaki. Even though he is a main character, he appears to be going down the path of self-sacrifice, where he could potentially go on to give his life for others, and unlessBorutodoes something about it, it is likely going to happen. But, aside from these characters, every other character has a death flag on their heads, especially the newly introduced members of Kara, and at the same time, the members of the old generation.

Why The Characters Of The Old Generation Are In Danger

Deaths Of Characters Who Fans Love Will Hurt The Most

The characters of the old generation are likely to die in Boruto. Of course, one has to draw a line between the characters who absolutely do not matter, and the characters who do matter and could potentially go on to die in the story here. For instance, characters such as Kakashi, Team 10, and Team 8 members absolutely do not matter in Boruto. They haven’t even shown up for the vast majority of the series, and their importance is nearing none. These characters, even if they did end up dying, would essentially not move any fan, because their deaths would then be considered pointless as they were not the focus of the Boruto series anyway.

Come, Otsutsuki! I’ll show you what true resolve is. – Naruto Uzumaki

On the other hand, a character such as Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and all the other individuals from the old generation who have been, in some capacity, involved in Boruto, such as Sai, Shikamaru, and even Sakura, are likely going to have a big impact and their deaths could potentially happen.

The only reason why an author like Ikemoto would put a death in a story is for it to move the plot forward and serve it, be that by giving the fans a feeling of shock and immense sadness, or using the death to move the plot forward in many exciting ways for the protagonist, or doing both at the same time. As such, only characters who have shown up in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex and played an important role are going to be facing The threat of death.

Who Will Die In Boruto?

Ikemoto Has Already Decided Who He Wants To Kill

As to who could die inBoruto, fans know that there are many characters who could potentially go on to lose their lives inBoruto. Right off the bat, my fans know that there is someone who has had the biggest death flag on his head for the longest time, and that is Naruto Uzumaki. In fact, it is highly implied by Ikemoto’s latest interview that Kishimoto was adamant about killing off certain old characters. Although he names no character, the implication that this could be Naruto Uzumaki is certainly there. Ikemoto has not killed off any major character in Boruto right now, but, this could change later down the line andhe could give in to Kishimoto’s idea of killing off morecharacters. Sasuke is another character who has faced loss time and again Boruto, and could go on to face more of it and potentially even die.

But, out of all the characters, the ones likeliest to die are none other than Kashin Koji, Daemon, and Ada. These characters are new to Boruto, but at the same time, they have had extremely exciting plotlines revolving around them. Kashin Koji wants to do his part to save the world, while Ada is slowly recognizing her true worth, and at the same time, her true feelings as well. Daemon hasn’t had many exciting roles to play as of yet, but surely, he will be expanded upon in the future as well. When all this goes down, fans will definitely see these characters finding themselves at the crossroads, and from there onwards, it is up to the author to deal with them as he sees fit. That said, just like Jiraiya, Koji is likely going to dieinBoruto, as are Ada and Damon.

If Konoha’s destruction is to be taken literally, then, major characters from the old generation could end up dying, and thiscould include everyone from Naruto Uzumakiall the way to new-gen characters, such as Shikadai, among others. Only time can tell who Ikemoto plans to kill off, but, there are certainly going to be a lot of dead characters in Boruto soon enough.
