However, Eskel’s crowning moment came near the tail end of the Battle of Kaer Morhen, where he had no problems standing up to Caranthir in a duel for the ages. While he was unable to secure victory, it was clear that he was willing to give up life and limb to save Geralt’s ward from the clutches of the Wild Hunt.

Regardless of how manipulative Triss was back when Geralt had lost his memories, there’s no denying that this mage is brave and stands up for the right cause more often than not.
