Season 2 is shaping up to be a make-or-break update forfans, asCall of Duty’s player count has been drastically decliningon Steam in recent weeks. Since the launch ofBlack Ops 6in October,Call of Dutyhas lost over 50% of its player base on Steam. While there’s no way to know whether or not the same can be said for PlayStation and Xbox, the sudden decline in players is expected to be largely down to the ongoing cheating issues in the game’s Ranked Play mode.Warzoneplayers seem to have taken the brunt of the issues, with many claiming it has become borderline unplayable and is in one of the worst conditions it’s ever been in.
