Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Master Prestige Bug Fixed With Season 2 Update

While there are plenty of bug fixes found in theBlack Ops 6Season 2 patch notes, there is one that stands out above the rest. Under the “Progression & Prestige” section of the patch notes, Treyarch revealed that Season 2 will address an issue that was causing the “Congratulations, you’ve Mastered Prestige” screen to appear after every match for some players who had reached Master Prestige. The annoying bughas beenirritating players for months, so it’sa welcomed fix for the community. The bug even presented some players with a screen to Prestige once again. However, due to this being an impossibility, it would simply lead to an error message.

Fans can expect plenty of other bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements in the new season too, including a highly-requested feature totrack camo challenges inBlack Ops 6Multiplayer and Zombies. This was a feature included in 2023’sModern Warfare 3but was absent from the franchise’s most recent entry. Thankfully, with the launch of Season 2,Black Ops 6players will now be able to manually track up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges, which will show real-time progress while in-game.

Unfortunately,Warzoneplayers will have less content than initially anticipated for Season 2. In a blog post earlier this month, Activision outlined some of the biggest issues inWarzoneandBlack Ops 6, confirming it was working to fix some of the community’s biggest gripes. Due toWarzonebeing in one of the worst states it has ever been in, Activision confirmed it would be prioritizing gameplay tuning, quality-of-life improvements, and bug fixes for the game’s next season. As such,Warzoneplayers will only have a new Reactive Armor perk, a Low Profile perk (coming mid-season), and new Ranked Play rewards for Season 2. There will, however, be plenty of gameplay updates for the game throughout the course of the season.
