As Aira Confesses Her Feelings, Momo Grows Insecure
After the shocking incident at school, Momo, Okarun, and Aira returned to the Ayase household. As Kenfinally regained his kintama, Momo tried to reconcile with Aira by apologizing for dropping a washbasin on her head. Unfortunately, her attempts at making amends did not prove fruitful, as Aira claimed that she was a demon.

The following day at school, Okarun told Momo that he would be busy working on a report, so he won’t be able to look for his other kintama. This aroused suspicion, which got worse when Miko told Momo that he could be lying to her for another girl. Momo, at the time, dismissed it but deep down felt insecure.
Meanwhile, Okarun was working out all by himself to prepare for future fights when he was approached by Aira, who had started having feelings for him. When she attempted to kiss him after confessing, Okarun tried to avoid Shiratori, and in the process, fell over her, creating an awkward situation. Just at that moment, Momo, who had been walking around the school looking for Okarun, arrived at the scene and felt that her worst fears had been realized.

Momo naturally misunderstood Okarun and returned to the classroom after a brief altercation. Sometime afterward, she realized that she had been transported to the empty space, just like in her lastconfrontation with the Flatwoods Monster. As she went outside the classroom to investigate, she was shocked to see Nessie roaming the halls. Meanwhile, Okarun reunited with Aira, who suspected that Momo was behind the bizarre situation.
Just as Okarun was explaining to Aira his last experience inside the empty space, the duo was confronted by the Dover Demon. As the alien attacked,Ken transformed to fight back. But before he could do anything, three Serpoians subjugated him using psychokinesis. It turned out that the aliens were fascinated by Okarun’s yokai powers and wished to capture him to investigate. As the situation seemed under control, the Serpoians prepared to operate on him right there.
Just in time, Aira somehowawakened Acrobatic Silky’s powers and transformed. She kicked the Serpoians to buy Okarun time. As the Dover Demon joined the battle, Shiratori demonstrated remarkable agility and fighting prowess to put him down. But she was caught off-guard by the Serpoians, who used psychokinesis to restrain her. Although Okarun tried to use the distraction to his advantage, the three Serpoians managed to overpower the duo.

The Serpoians' Cunningness Fails Against Teamwork
The Serpoians had sent Nessieto keep Momo out of the equation, but their plan failed as she managed to arrive for her friends' rescue. As she tried to use her psychokinesis to cancel out the Serpoians' power, they changed strategies to reveal that they had a few unexpected tricks up their sleeve. One of the Serpoians physically enhanced the Dover Demon, and around the same time, the empty void was overflooded, putting Okarun and his friends at a disadvantage.

Ken and Momo showedremarkable bravery in fighting the enhanced Dover Demon, while Nessie arrived at the scene to wreak havoc. The duo soon had to rescue Aira, who almost drowned in the chaos. But as the trio regrouped and prepared to confront their enemies, the Serpoians resorted to another cunning trick. One of them merged with Nessie and the Dover Demon to transform into a frightening monster, who could not only swim well but also punch extremely hard and release a high-compression water blast.
The Serpo-Dover Demon-Nessie unleashed a barrage of relentless attacks on the three friends, pushing them on their back foot. Suddenly, Momo came up with a genius plan. She stood in front of the monster, and just as it tried to attack, she used her power to lower the water level. The Serpo-Dover Demon-Nessie’s arms ripped apart because of the immense force generated by the Dover Demon. In a last-ditch effort, it tried to drown Momo, but Okarun and Aira joined hands to tear their enemy in half, saving Ayase in the process.

Aira Defends Momo and Okarun Explains Himself
After the Serpoians were defeated,Okarun, Momo, and Airawere suddenly transported to the hall in a compromising position. They had to later explain their embarrassing situation to the nurse and fellow students. When Momo wondered why the Serpoians would want to acquire yokai powers, Okarun came up with an interesting theory. He argued that even advanced alien technology had failed against yokai powers, and because of that, there had been no alien invasion so far. The yokais have unknowingly become Earth’s first line of defense against aliens and have kept the planet safe.
When Okarun finally got the chance, he explained how he and Aira ended up in an awkward situation, ending their misunderstandings. Meanwhile, Shiratori returned to her classroom to find that her classmates were making upwild assumptions about Momo. The speculations were fueled by earlier rumors about Ayase that were spread by Aira. Realizing her mistake, she confessed that it was all her fault and asked her classmates not to disrespect Shiratori. Considering their constant bickering, it was wholesome to see Aira stick up for Momo.
The Dover Demon Returns to His Home Planet
Momo and Her Friends Rescue Their Rival
The Serpoians had hiredthe Dover Demon to fightfor them when they set out to capture Okarun. But as the mission failed, they abandoned the injured alien to fend for himself. Tearful and exhausted, he fell unconscious in front of Aira and Momo. They later took him to the Ayase household, where everyone joined hands to look after him. As he eventually regained consciousness, the Dover Demon was moved by the kindness he had received and vowed never to harm them in the future.

The Dover Demon also revealed that he needed money to earn money for his son’s blood transfusion, as he contracted the same disease as his mother. When Seiko later noticed that his blood was actually milk, she arranged a cow so that he could take it with him. The generosity earned the Dover Demon’s loyalty, and as he prepared to go back to his planet, he promised to come to their rescue whenever they needed his help. That night,Okarun and his friends watched him vanishinto the night sky on his ship, knowing that they had earned a friend.
