Summary

WithDaredevil: Born Againcloser than ever to finally releasing, the promotional campaign for the show is really revving up and now a part of the campaign from across the pond gives fans one of the most impressive looks at the show’s protagonist so far.

Daredevil: Born Againwas a real win for the plethora of fans who had been waiting patiently for the freeze on the IP to end following the end of Netflix’s run of Marvel shows, which was headlined by Charlie Cox as the titular hero inDaredevil.Marvel Studios and Disney were quick to act as soon as the prescribed holdout period ended, announcingDaredevil: Born Againas something of a soft reboot of the Netflix-era show. While that production would hit a brick wall when Marvel Studio execs effectively restarted the whole thing from scratch, it would change the backstage culture at Marvel and bounce back to becomeone of the most exciting TV shows coming out in 2025.

After a long wait, the officialDaredevil: Born AgainTrailer finally arrived in full force, and that’s not the only big promotional push that the show is getting. More recently,SFX Magazinehas heralded a series of upcoming exclusive interviews for their January issue by previewing the cover for the feature in all its glory. The image, which also plays a cheeky joke with the magazine’s title, shows a close-up of Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock in his iconic Daredevil mask. In addition to a pre-order link and tags for Marvel and Disney+ UK accounts, the featured caption reads, “Criminals beware - #Daredevil is #BornAgain! Get the lowdown on the Marvel Television and Disney+ series with exclusive interviews in the new issue of SFX, on sale 29 January…”

While there will be a ton of similarities between Daredevil: Born Again and its predecessor, that doesn’t mean that things are going to be ported one to one, and the costume is certainly one thing that’s going to see more changes even beyond the first season.Charlie Cox recently touched on the time gap between the Netflix era &Daredevil: Born Again, and it makes sense that the character’s costume would have seen some revisions in five years of active crime fighting. Fortunately for fans of the original series, there’s been precious little change on the whole. The Man Without Fear is still easily recognized, and this superb high-definition cover shot from SFX allows fans to really appreciate the level of quality and detail that the Marvel Studios version is working with.

Fans will remember thatCox’s potential involvement in a big MCU project has been invariably leakedvia social media, and with that higher degree of importance previously confined to rumors now confirmed,Daredevil: Born Againhas taken on even more significance beyond returning a fan favorite from the Netflix era. Bringing in a prospective major player that could also be the window to let in more characters to bolster the roster of more grounded, street-level heroes that the MCU has been sorely lacking could setBorn Againas a pivotal point in the franchise for years to come.

Daredevil: Born Againis set to premiere on Disney+ on July 01, 2025.
