Diablo 4’sSeason of Witchcrafthas added several new Unique Items to the game, including powerful entries to the Necromancer’s kit like Indira’s Memory. Indira’s Memory is a great item for players looking to focus on either Bone Spear or Blood Wave, and even makes it into a BiS for one of the classes' best endgame builds.
To get Indira’s Memory, players should focus on farming a particular endgame boss, whose special loot table heavily increases the odds of getting these pants. For even more efficient farming, grouping up with friends and sharing materials can quickly net players an Indira’s Memory with a Greater Affix. Keep reading for information on which boss to farm, and ideas for builds in which to use Indira’s Memory.

How To Get Indira’s Memory
There are two main ways to farm Indira’s Memory:
DefeatingBeast In The Icewhile playing a Necromancer is by far the most reliable way to target farm Indira’s Memory. The number of item drops per kill depends on the current World Tier, so it is advised to spawn this boss at the highest level the player can comfortably fight. For added speed and more runs, players commonly party up in the Social Tab for endgame bosses and pool their materials.
WhileUnique Itemscan technically drop from any location once the player character is of high enough level inDiablo 4, the game’s many Unique Items and smaller drop chance outside of Boss fights make most activities terrible for target farming. Beast in the Ice not only has a higher Unique Item drop chance, but its loot table is also much smaller (predictable) than Overworld drops.

How To Summon Beast In The Ice
Beast in the Ice can besummoned by sacrificingDistilled Fearin the Glacial Fissure(South of Kyovoshad in the Fractured Peaks). To do so, players must be at least level 60 and have beaten the campaign.Distilled Fear is farmed in primarily in Nightmare Dungeons, although it drops in Helltides and from the Tree of Whispers as well.
The Best Build That Uses Indira’s Memory
Necromancer builds centered around Bone Spear and Blood Wave are most likely to use this item. The best build to utilize this item by far is theBone Spear Endgame Necromancerbuild. This build is a solid A-Tier build and outperforms most other Necromancer builds (other than the broken Shadow Blood Wave Build) in the late game. To make it shine, players need only Indira’s Memory and the Bone Duster’s Aspect, after which they can stack Overpower for massive damage.
