Summary
SomeDiablo 4players are currently facing issues with frequent game crashes during Season 7. While not allDiablo 4players seem to be suffering from the same issues, problems such as memory leaks on PC are being described as some of the main causes of the constant crashes.
Diablo 4started Season 7on June 06, 2025. Also known as Season of Witchcraft, Season 7 offers new seasonal powers themed after witches, some balancing changes, new upgrades, bosses, enemies, and more. Despite tons of new content, however, some gamers are currently unhappy with the technical aspects of the newDiablo 4season.

According to social media posts andcomments on Blizzard’s forums, multiple PC gamers are facing constant problems whileplayingDiablo 4during Season 7, like server disconnects, difficulties logging in, and game crashes. One of the most common issues is related to memory leaks on PC, as even gamers with high specs often can’t play for more than an hour before the game crashes due to lacking enough RAM. While this problem was already for some players present before Season 7, it seems to have become more prominent after the update that changed the season, which has made the game essentially unplayable for some people.
Gamers are Annoyed With Diablo 4’s Constant Crashes
Unfortunately, this is not the only issue that gamers found in Season 7 so far. Earlier this week, for example, players discovered thatDiablo 4’s Mantle of the Mountain’s fury chest piece is bugged. The main perk of the armor is increasing the damage output of Barbarian’s Earthquakes. However, gamers have noticed that they still do regular damage when the item is equipped.
Aside from these annoying bugs,Diablo 4players are unhappy with the absence of leaderboards in Season 7. Leaderboards have been common in the franchise sinceDiablo 3, and multiple gamers have complained that Season 7 is lacking in leaderboards such as the popular Trial Gauntlet. The unhappy players even promptedDiablo 4community manager Adam Fletcher to address the situation, explaining that the Trial Gauntlet may not return in the future, but that the company is currently looking at “other ways” to create similar activities soon. Hopefully, Blizzard will correct all of these issues in the near future, and players will finally be able to play Season 7 properly without experiencing random crashes, but it remains to be seen when that will happen.
