Speak with Gelena
The Burden of Family quest begins with a task that centers around speaking withGelena. As per usual, this NPC inDiablo 4’s Season of Witchcraftcan be found near theTree of Whispers, and her precise position has been marked on the following maps.
Perform the Ritual
Players must now enter the ritual circle by clicking on thefootprintthat is between Gelena and the circle. Notably, this is the same action that fans performed duringDiablo 4’s Poison in the Roots quest, and the words “Coven’s Ritual Circle” will appear on-screen when they are targeting the correct spot.
Invoke the Tree’s Old Name in the Correct Order
After entering the ritual circle and observing the ritual’s preparations, players must invoke the Tree’s Old Name in the correct order. Once again, fans will have completed this task before, during the Poison in the Roots quest, and here are the specific actions that they should take:
Trace and Connect the Pentagram
Players should now stand on theilluminated spotthat appears near the bottom-left Ritual Brazier. Fans must thenwalk along the lines of the pentagramthat is inscribed onto the ground to cause it to become illuminated. Witness the Ritual
The ritual will begin as soon as the pentagram is traced, and it ends with a short combat sequence. While none of the enemies that appear during this sequence are particularly difficult to defeat,Diablo 4playersshould be prepared to do battle.
Find Caidin
Once the enemy horde has been dispatched, players should interact with thefootprintsthat are beneath the pentagram to leave the ritual circle. Fans should then headdownward, jumping across a gap when necessary, to reachGelena and Caidin. The precise position of those NPCs has been marked on the following map, and The Burden of Family quest will be marked as complete as soon as players speak with Gelena.
