Once you arrive at the fifth stagein the second worldofDonkey Kong Country Returns HD, Stormy Shore, you will need to prepare for a tough battle against a giant octopus. While you are making your way through this level and trying to survive, you will also need to be on the lookout for five puzzle pieces and 4 KONG letters.
If you are finding yourself a bit distracted during this level and haven’t been able to find all the KONG letters and puzzle pieces, this guide will take you through so you can find everything you need.
Donkey Kong Country Returns HD: All Puzzle Pieces in Stormy Shore
As mentioned before, there are atotal offive puzzle piecesin the Stormy Shore level. This section will show exactly where you’re able to find them all.
Puzzle Piece #1
For the first puzzle piece, you will want to make your way up thegrassy wallon the left, and continue to head towards the left. While up here, you’ll spot the puzzle piece just above you.
Puzzle Piece #2
Just after the area with the grassy walls, you’ll notice an open platform justafter the DK barrel. Use your ground pound ability here, and then head right toenter a bonus room. Make sure to grab everything inside here to get the puzzle piece at the end.
Puzzle Piece #3
To get the third puzzle piece, jump into the barrel with the white arrow in front of the octopus. When thewave reaches the very top, blast out of the barrel to get the puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece #4
Just after you grab the last puzzle piece, jump onto the wooden platform after the octopus area. There will be awooden polehere that you’re able to ground pound, and then another pole will pop up with the puzzle piece on top.
Puzzle Piece #5
Just after you pass the second checkpoint, head into the cave and go up the grassy walls. When you reach the very top,there will be atreasure chestyou can open with a puzzle piece inside.

You will also need tolocate four KONG lettersin Stormy Shore along with the puzzle pieces. Here’s where they are located.
Kong Letter K
Towards the very beginning of the level, you’ll easily spot the letter K while climbing up thegrassy walls.
Kong Letter O
Just after you pass the pig at thecheckpoint, you’ll notice the letter O in the air. Jump across to the higher platform, and use this to reach the O.
Kong Letter N
In the middle of the next section with the octopus, there will be aship mastwith two platforms. Jump on top of the higher one, and the letter N will be up here.
Kong Letter G
Just after reaching thethird checkpoint, you’ll notice the letter G high up above you on the third platform. To reach this, jump on top of one of the squids flying by to get a boost.
