Boichi’s The Marshal King will follow a boy who claims to have been fathered by a dangerous outlaw. For reasons unknown, the boy kills his father and travels across the desert with his corpse. More details about the plot will be disclosed once the first chapter of the manga is released.
Fans who have been following Boichi’s works for a while will certainly be excited as The Marshal King is both written and illustrated by him. The mangaka himself will be thrilled about the new undertaking.
He knows that he has the talent to create the next big Shonen Jump hit. It is alsoworth mentioning that Shueisha is probablyhoping that Boichi’s project will be a massive success, especially with Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia ending last year. Both Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia sold more than 100 million copies, which helped the publisher reach new standards. Replacing either of them will be difficult, but Boichi’s new manga will certainly fill the void.

Sun-Ken Rock is by far the most popular. The manga began serialization in Shonen Gahosha’s Young King magazine in April 2006. The manga continued to run for almost a decade before reaching its end in February 2016.
However,Boichi’s biggest success is Dr. Stone. He teamed up with Riichiro Inagaki to create the manga. The latter was in charge of the writing, while Boichi handled the artwork. Dr. Stone debuted in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 2017, and readers were immediately fascinated by it.Dr. Stone ended in March 2022 with232 chapters. Based on reports, the manga has sold over 18 million copies, making it one of the most successful titles released in the last two decades.
