Summary
One Piecehas been one of the few manga titles that has been able to maintain a consistent level of quality. The biggest reason for One Piece’s success hasbeen Eiichiro Oda’s insanely good storytelling abilities. The author has tended to the story and made sure there aren’t any major retcons that would affect the overall plot.
Eiichiro Oda does most of the heavy lifting, but he does receive help from his editors. For the last two years, Kaito Anayama has been serving as One Piece’s editor. However, it has been confirmed that he will be replaced by Junya Fukuda, who worked on Jujutsu Kaisen, Black Clover, and Tokyo Demon Bride Story. Kaito Anayama started working on One Piece as the 12th editor. Like the previous editors, his job was to review the manuscripts and ensure there were no errors. According to reports, Kaito Ayama is aware of One Piece’s ending, making him part of an exclusive group.

Junya Fukuda has been part of some very popular series, so fans can rest easy. Junya Fukuda joins the team at a very crucial point as One Piece is currently serializing the Elbaf arc, which is the second arc of the Final Saga. If Oda decides to make a change at this point, it means that he trusts Junya Fukuda to do an outstanding job.
