According to some sources, they have recently met at a dinner party, where Gege was invited by Oda.

Eiichiro Oda And Gege Akutami’s Meeting
Mangaka actually meet occasionally together. And recently, it was revealed Eiichiro Oda, the mangaka ofOne Piece, met with Jujutsu Kaisen’s mangaka, Gege Akutami.
This was all revealed by Kenji Yamauchi, a member of the comedy duo known as Kamaitachi. According to him, this is what Eiichiro Oda said:

“I’m going to have dinner with Akutami-kun from Jujutsu Kaisen today. Are you free?”
From what he also revealed, the artist of One Punch Man, known as Yusuke Murata, and the mangaka of Shaman King, known as Hiroyuki Takei were also present at that dinner party.

This all comes after the conclusion of Gege’s manga Jujutsu Kaisen, and more recently, following the release of its final volume.
Fans know that Oda admires Gege’s work, as he has spoken about it on quite a few occasions. Meanwhile, Gege Akutami is a huge fan ofOne Pieceas well, so much so that he referenced Gecko Moria, one of the most popular villains from the series, in his final message to fans.

Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen
Jujutsu Kaisen, Gege’s work, has been one of the biggest mangas of recent years, in big part thanks to its hugely successful anime adaptation.
Recently, however, the story concluded afterthe events of the Shinjuku Showdown. Its final manga volume was also released not too long ago, around Christmas.
Both Gege and Oda have enjoyed quite successful careers, and fans hope to see them work together in the same magazine again soon.
