Endless Legend 2 Will Feature a New World, Factions, and More
The upcoming title will take place in Saiadha, an oceanic world described as both pretty and perilous. The gameplay loop ofEndless Legend 2was designed around the game’s setting, with Amplitude confirming the existence of storm and tide mechanics requiring players to adapt to constantly shifting environmental conditions. The game will expand the series’complicated lorewith new factions, ancient civilizations, and secrets, among other novelties. The early access version ofEndless Legend 2will have four playable factions, with Amplitude planning to add two more post-release. As was the case with the first game, eachEL2faction will feature a unique playstyle. Amplitude has hinted that the day-one factions will allow players to choose between warriors, nobles, diplomats, and builders.
Endless Legend 2 Playtest Is Starting Soon
Ahead of its Steam Early Access launch,Endless Legend 2will host a closed playtest. Enrollment will be managed via Amplitude’s newly reopened Insiders program. Anyone wanting to register for a chance to be among the first to try the game can do so by filling out a short survey. The details of theEndless Legend 2playtest will be announced at a later date. Amplitude says it intends to include “as many players as possible,” while noting that not all applicants may be selected for every phase of the test.
