Glintwood Hollow is the starter realm inEternal Strands, but that doesn’t mean players cannot find high-value materials. Aside from the weather changes that bring different conditions to each realm with different Epic Encounters, there are hidden rest sites on each map that offer phenomenal resources.
While Steel is a good start in Glintwood Hollow as a 2-star Regorged Resource, players can also gain access to a 3-star material of the same category by farming Candescite, which spawns in a hidden camp at the far north of the map.
Best Locations To Farm Candescite
Candescite is a 3-star Reforged Resource that comes with a Heat nature. It’s pretty common in the Upper Dynevron, the third realm in the game, but to benefit from its stat boost earlier in the game is a massive advantage against bosses likeAshpeak DrakeorArk of the Stricken Earth.
Glintwood Hollow
Head to the west side of Feller’s Arch on the map, and you must be able to spot an entrance gate into a cave just before reaching thefast travel circle. The gate is blocked by some wooden planks. ensure to break them first.
Now, there is an elevator inside with a torch on its left. In order to activate the elevator, the player must light up the torch with fire. After making progress to Dredger’s Mire realm, players can easily do this by shooting a Flame Arrow or using the Drake’s Breath strand.
However, if you have not unlocked any of them yet, the only way is to throw one of those explosive flowers that you tried out at the opening mission of the game. Thankfully, there are a few of those explosive flowers near Feller’s Arch, and one is located just beneath the teleport circle. So, use the Weaver’s Grasp strand and grab the explosive flower, then carry it all the way up inside the cave and throw it at the torch. Once the torch is lit, the elevator will work.
Now, head down, and you will find two big red ores that grant Candescite and Serenite. Make sure to hit them with a charged attack, though.
You can repeat this process by traveling back and forth between the Campsite and the Glintwood Hollow, as the ores will respawn. However, they have a timer for respawning, and if you do it too quickly, you may not find new rocks there yet.
Upper Dynevron
Candescite/Serenite ores can be found in multiple locations in Upper Dynevron as a common resource in the realm, but the best location to farm is just south of the starter teleport circle. You will find the ores on ledges next to the magic-filled river.
