The main questline ofEternal Strandswill take players on an adventure through a magical place that’s been lost to time. However, in order to reach such a place of legend, players will first need to find a way to get there. The Tapestry quest is the first step to reaching the mysterious Enclave’s capital city, and as simple as it may be, it’s also a little confusing.
Getting new powers andgear inEternal Strandsis great and all, but if you don’t progress through the main story, you won’t be able to experience much of the game. If you’re looking to knock those main story quests out of the park as quickly as possible, here’s a short guide covering the two most important parts of The Tapestry quest.

How to Reach the Tower in Eternal Strands The Tapestry Quest
The first task in this quest is to search for clues about what happened to the village in Dredger’s Mire. For that, players will need to scour the watchtower on top of a nearby hill. The main gate is locked, and with no other entrance available, you’ll need to climb the walland enter via the balcony.
The item you need to pick up is on the upper balcony. Don’t forget to grab the schematic on the table upstairs — this will unlock the crafting recipe for an elemental bow that can shoot fire-infused arrows.

Climb to the very top of the tower to find a chest containing crafting materials.
If you’re entering Dredger’s Mire for the first time, there will be an Ashpeak Drakewaiting near the stairs leading up to the watchtower. You can ignore it for the sake of the quest, but it will most likely attack you. With a little bit of patience and persistence, you should be able to take it down. Doing so will reward you with the Drake’s Breath Strand, a power that you’ll need for the next part of the quest.

Where to Find the Keyswatch in The Tapestry Quest
The Keyswatch is an item that players will need to access Dnevron, the capital city of the Enclave. There’s one in the village of Poldervale, but there’s one problem: the village is completely frozen. You’ll start taking damage if you march through the ice, and you won’t be able to get the Keyswatch without fire.
If you defeated the Ashpeak Drake earlier, you should be able to melt any ice that’s in your way.The Keyswatch is in the center of the village— your quest marker should lead you right to it. Use Drake’s Breath to clear a path and melt any giant ice crystals, and once you reach the quest marker, melt the ice covering the chest containing the Keyswatch to proceed.

You can also melt ice using flame-infused weapons. However, this is less efficient than using Drake’s Breath.
After getting the Keyswatch, return to the camp and speak with your fellow Weavers. The quest will be complete by then, and you’ll now have access to Upper Dnevron and the rest ofEternal Strands’story.
