Just like a lot of thepreviousDynasty Warriorsgames,Dynasty Warriors: Originspacks in an awful lot of content, both when it comes to the game’s main campaign and the ridiculous amount of side content that it has to offer. The former is broken up into five chapters, each of which has players taking part in a series of epic battles inspired by the ones discussed in Luo Guanzhong’sRomance of the Three Kingdoms.
Completing every battle inDynasty Warriors: Originswill require multiple playthroughs, as the ones that players gain access to are determined by the choices that they make. As they begin to progress a little, they’ll also be able to take on optional side missions, although, much like the main story battles, the missions that they’ll be able to complete are based on the faction that they choose to side with.
After completing the game, players will gain the ability to restart the story from various points, which can make completing every battle and mission inDynasty Warriors: Originssignificantly easier.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins Chapter List (All Main Story Battles)
There are 70 main story battles inDynasty Warriors: Origins(59 unique battles), although players will only need to complete 34 of these as part of a standard playthrough. This is becausethe story begins to branch out a little during Chapter 3, with players forced to swear their allegiance to one of the era’s three great generals around the end of the chapter. It’s worth noting that there’s still quite a bit of overlap during the game’s last few chapters, although, players will often find that their objectives during a particular battle are vastly different depending on which force they’re fighting alongside.

In addition to the 70 main story battles, players will be able to take part in 48 optionalDynasty Warriors: Originsmissions. Sadly, there’s a lot of repetition here andrewards for missionsthat have variations for each faction can only be claimed once, although those hoping to unlock the Supreme Competence Trophy / Achievement will need to complete them nonetheless. The only saving grace is that most of the duplicate missions are relatively short, allowing players to breeze through them at a fairly decent pace once.

To unlock the Dream Battle mission, players will need to restore peace to all ten regions, which will lead to Ziluan receiving a letter from one of the other Guardians of Peace. After reading it, players will be able to find the Dream Battle in the Sili Province.
