Falloutseason onewas a huge hit for the streamer when it landed onPrime Videolast year. Bringing in over 65 million viewers in its first 16 days was a monumental feat, not only for Amazon but also for the franchise’s many dedicated fans who waited nervously to find out how Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic video game adaptation would turn out. Filming on thesecond season ofFalloutwas sadly delayeddue to the devastating California wildfires, but now it seems as though production is well underway. Created by Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, theFalloutTV series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Walton Goggins, who will all be returning. As teased at the end of the first season,Falloutseason 2 will take fans to New Vegas, one of the most beloved locations from the games, and with more popular images being recently revealed, another popular location from its filming set has been leaked.

Fallout Season 2 Set Photo Leak Teases Return of Dinky the T-Rex

While fans are mostly still in the dark about whatFalloutseason 2’s story will unearth, a recent leak from theFalloutfilming set looks as though it confirms the return of one of the game’s most iconic landmarks. For those who have playedFallout: New Vegas, Dinky the Dinosaur will be instantly recognizable as it appears in Novac as a huge roadside attraction. Situated within the Dino Dee-lite Motel complex, Dinky is found along Highway 95, so the giant green structure can’t be missed due to its enormous size. The T-Rex is seen holding a massive thermometer that has a bite taken out of the top of it while promoting the amenities at the motel like a color television.

The image in question, from Reddit user FeuTarse, showcases a behind-the-scenes image of Dinky’s massive head, modeled after the same statue that appears in the city of Novac. This is a really great callback for fans ofNew Vegaswho will love seeing such dedication to the popular game 15 years later. Another brilliant reference is that the real “World’s Tallest Thermometer” is situated in Baker, California, which is now being used as afilming location for Novac inFalloutseason 2. Many of the comments in the post are praisingFallout’s showrunners for thinking aboutNew Vegasfans and are excitedly expressing how they can’t wait to see more of Novac in season 2, as well as how far the TV series will lean into other characters from the game.
