After 15 years,Falloutseason 2 is taking its loyal fanbase back to New Vegas when it returns and, to get post-apocalyptic lovers even more excited, new behind-the-scenes set images of the sign, as well as a look at storefronts, have been revealed.
Released in April 2023, and created by Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet for Amazon Prime Video, theFalloutTV series is based on Bethesda’s long-running post-role-playing video game franchise of the same name and set two hundred years after the apocalypse. StarringArcaneandYellowjacketsactor Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Walton Goggins, Amazon’sFalloutreached a huge milestonewith its first season, accumulating 100 million viewers worldwide and 65 million viewers in its first 16 days of release. Now, with more images having been unearthed of season 2’s set, it feels as though fans will get to explore quite a bit of the beloved Novac location this time around.
New Vegas Sign Gives Fans a Glimpse of What To Expect in Fallout Season 2
On Reddit’sFalloutTV series thread, a fan of the show posted a host of behind-the-scenesimages of the New Vegas signto offer other fans a look at the beloved location. Userericalm_explained that they believe the construction of the set seemed to have been completed, and theFalloutteam looks like they are gearing up to start shooting soon. As well as a good look at the New Vegas sign, which fans of the game will know is based on the real-world “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign and located in the Mojave Wasteland, a green screen and other storefronts are visible.
In the comments section of the post, the behind-the-scenes images had a lot of fans of the series freaking out with excitement. OneFalloutlover exclaimed, “This is going to be an amazing television experience,” while another said, “I feel emotional looking at these”. However, one eagle-eyed fan seemed to spot something in the images that many had bypassed. It seems as though there’s a glimpse of a securitron shell in image 3. For those who might not know, The Securitron is a security robot that guards the Strip and can be found there alongsidethe Lucky 38 casinoand Big MT inFallout: New Vegas.
Thefilming of the second season ofFallouthad been delayeddue to the horrific outbreak of wildfires in Southern California, which was set to begin on January 8 but had to then be pushed back for security and safety measures. Walton Goggins also recently revealed that he has begun filming for Season 2 ofFallout, alongsideHome Alonestar, Macaulay Culkin and MCU star, Kumail Nanjiani, who have both joined the show, although their roles haven’t been disclosed as yet.
Falloutseason 2 doesn’t have a release date as yet, but it’s expected to premiere in early 2026.
