Wielding fearsome Turoc-Mongol sabers, the Mongolian Khatun will join the fray alongsideFor Honor’s other formidable female fighterson January 23.

Mongolian Khatun Revealed as New For Honor Character Coming on January 23

Historically, the term “Khatun” designated the female equivalent of Mongolian Khan or Turkic Khagan, although the title survived in its Turkish form well into the later Ottoman Empire. InFor Honor, players can likely expect the Khatun to strike down enemies with nimble efficiency, delivering lightning-fast blows with her dual-wielded sabers. The Khatun also represents a return to the game’s more historical aesthetic after a brief departure into the realms of science fiction during the recentDestiny 2Halloween crossover event.

With regular patches and updates, Ubisoft has remained committed to keeping one of thebest medieval PvP fighting gamesalive. December’s Serpent Sword update saw For Honor hit an 8,735 peak player count on Steam, almost double that of the previous month.
