Fortnitehas received countless updates since its release in 2017, with developer Epic Games seeing the game as more of a platform on which to build rather than a static title. This approach can be seen throughout the game’s history, but rings especially true when looking atFortnite’s more recent updates. Not only hasFortnitereceived new weapons, events, crossovers, and collaborations over the past few years, but the game itself has changed in significant ways. Perhaps one ofFortnite’s biggest changes lies with Ballistic, a new first-person game mode that flips the game on its head, placing two teams of five against each other in a tactical showdown evocative ofCounter-Strike. Big changes are practically always around the corner, withFortniteset to introduce its latest overhaul to its ever-changing weapon pool.
