Pop-culture collaborations have become a core part ofFortnite’s identity over the last few years. What started as just a handful of skins based oniconic Marvel and DC charactershas turned into full seasons revolving around IP, complete with themed weapons, points of interest, boss fights, limited-time events, and, of course, an onslaught of skins and other cosmetics.

There are well over 200 crossover skins inFortnite, encompassing just about every corner of the pop-culture world, from movies and TV shows to comics and anime. A handful of these skins borrow the likeness of the actor who portrays the character. Keanu Reeves is one such actor, and if recent rumors are true, his spot as one of the most prominent faces inFortnitemight soon be taken away from him.

A Rumored Collaboration Could Replace Keanu Reeves as The King of Fortnite Collaborations

Keanu Reeves Shares The Fortnite Throne

It’s surprisingly rare for an actor’s likeness to be used for aFortniteskin. More often than not, most crossover skins only use an approximation of the actor’s appearance, capturing their general features without using key identifying traits. This is likely done to avoid paying for an actor’s likeness, which can be a pretty sum for more popular faces, such as those who star inthe Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is probably why many MCU skins have generic faces hidden underneath their otherwise screen-accurate costumes.

But Keanu Reeves is an incredibly rare exception, lending his likeness to not just one crossover skin, but two. ThoughFortnitehad aJohn Wick-inspired “The Reaper” skin back in 2018, anofficialJohn Wickcrossover outfithit the battle royale in May 2019, coinciding with the release ofJohn Wick: Chapter 3. Keanu Reeves received a second skin based on his likeness last December, with the release of theCyberpunk 2077-inspired Johnny Silverhand skin.

It’s extremely rare for an actor to get oneFortniteskin, let alone two, but there are a few more celebrities who appear twice inFortnite. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson appears as both Black Adam and originalFortnitecharacter The Foundation, while Tom Holland appears asthe MCU’sSpider-Manand the live-actionUncharted’s Nathan Drake, and Zendaya appears as MJ andDune’s Chani.

Harrison Ford Could Soon Take The Fortnite Throne

According to some recent leaks from @NotPaloLeaks and @HYPEX, theBlade Runnerfranchise could be coming toFortnitein a future update. Though these leakers didn’t give many details, if aBlade RunnerxFortnitecrossoverwas to happen, it would likely come with at least one Rick Deckard (played by Harrison Ford) skin, with the eponymous Replicant-hunter being a main player in both the original 1982 movie and the 2017 sequel,Blade Runner 2049.

If Rick Deckard gets a skin inFortnite, and ifHarrison Ford’s likenessis used, then that would result in Ford having a total of three skins based on his likeness, with the first two beingStar Wars' Han Solo andIndiana Jones' titular adventurer. And with three skins under his belt, Harrison Ford would become the new king ofFortnite, dethroning celebrities like Keanu Reeves, Zendaya, Tom Holland, and The Rock.
