GTA Onlineis famous for its dynamic world and limited-time events that keep players engaged all year. TheYuanbao Collectibles eventis the most recent limited-time event that the developers have continued adding to even as the renowned franchise nears its conclusion.
The Yuanbao Collectible event is a limited-time event themed around the Lunar New Year, where the players will have to explore Los Santos to collect golden Yuanbao. 36 of these Chinese golden sycees are scattered around the map, waiting for you to pick them up. Players who collect all the Yuanbao will earn exclusive rewards, making this event a must-complete if you are a collector.
All Yuanbao Collectibles Locations in GTA Online
All the Yuanbao collectibles are placed in various locations, from rail tracks and rooftops to remote wilderness areas. To complete the challenge, you must therefore search nearly the whole map for all 36 collectibles. To finish the task fast and easily, it is recommended to have ahelicopter availablein your hangar because some of these sites are inaccessible without one.
A jingle will indicate the presence of a Yuanbao collectible when you are close to it. It is recommended that you attempt to follow the source of the sound if you are unable to find the item. Additionally, your controller will begin to vibrate when you get close to the collectibles. It will vibrate more the closer you approach, making it simpler to identify when you are in its range.
1. Los Santos International Airport
The first Yuanbao can be found within the airport area. Go to the location shown on the map, look near the runway, and find the collectible on top of a crane controller.
2. Elysian Island
The second Yuanbao is located in the Elysian Island area. Go to the boat dock, and then jump on the boat. Head to the back side of the boat, and you will find the sycee on the railing.
3. Elysian Island (Chupacabra Street)
This one is complicated to find. Go to the marked location and get on the docked ship. Head to the back of the ship and start climbing: first, take the stairs, then a ladder, and finally climb over a wall near a searchlight. You will find the Yuanbao near the ship’s searchlight.
4. Los Santos International Airport
The next one is also in the Los Santos International Airport area. The Yuanbao can be found in a car junkyard. Look for a pile of old vehicles and concrete rings, and you will find the Yuanbao between them.
5. Terminal
This Yuanbao is placed at the front of a docked cargo ship in the Terminal area. You must board the ship and walk toward the bow (front section) to find the collectible.
6. El Burro Heights
Located in El Burro Heights, this Yuanbao is near a large tanker in the marked location.
7. El Burro Heights
The next one is also in El Burro Heights, hidden within an under-construction location. Go to the marked location and look near the half-constructed beams, and you will find the Yuanbao.
8. Cypress Flats
This Yuanbao is hidden on the rooftop of theLS Car Meet Building. To reach it, use the stairs on the side of the building, then climb up a ventilation fan using the ladder
9. Davis
In the Davis neighborhood, this Yuanbao is hidden on a store rooftop. Climb the ladder at the back of the store and walk towards the roof’s edge to find it.
10. Chamberlain Hills
The next one is on top of a market building in Chamberlain Hills. A ladder is attached to the side of the building, providing access to the rooftop, where you will find the Yuanbao.
11. Pillbox Hill
This Yuanbao is on the top floor of an under-construction skyscraper in Pillbox Hill. The fastest way to reach it is by helicopter or a vehicle. However, if you prefer none, then you will have to climb an endless ladder to the top to collect the collectible.
12. Pillbox Hill
Another Yuanbao in Pillbox Hill is placed near the entry gate of the Union Depository.
13. La Mesa
In La Mesa, this Yuanbao is placed on top of a building. Use the ladders attached to the side of the structure to climb up and retrieve it.
14. Vespucci Canals (Bay City Avenue)
The next Yuanbao is on the rooftop of the nightclub. To reach it, climb the ventilation units on the backside of the building.
15. Rockford Hills
On a public bench in the Eugenics Inc. building, you will find another Yuanbao in the Rockford Hills area.
16. GWC and Golfing Society
The next Yuanbao is hidden inside the GWC and Golfing Society. Enter the golf course, and you will find the collectible near two small ponds atop a landmark.
17. Rockford Hills Graveyard
One Yuanbao sits on top of a tombstone in the Rockford Hills Graveyard.
18. Pacific Bluffs
At the Kortz Center in Pacific Bluffs, the Yuanbao is placed on the second-floor corridor.
19. Banham Canyon (Inseno Road)
On Inseno Road in Banham Canyon, this Yuanbao is inside a drawer near the entrance of a house.
20. Richman Glen
This Yuanbao can be found inside the house’s boundary, located near Richman Glen. Jump over the wall and search near the wall to find the collectible.
21. Vinewood Hills
The next Yuanbao is located at the backside of a villa in Vinewood Hills. You will find a radio table near the swimming pool area and the collectible sitting atop the table.
22. West Vinewood
This Yuanbao is located on the rooftop of a tall building in West Vinewood. The best way to access it is by using a helicopter or aflying vehicle.
23. Downtown Vinewood
Located on the decorative arch at the entrance of the famous The Oriental Theatre. This location can only be accessed through a flying vehicle. If you prefer a challenge, you’re able to also look for a building nearby that provides a high jump-off point for you to land on the roof of the building.
24. Vinewood Hills
The next Yuanbao is on the roof terrace of the famous Diamond Casino and Spa Resort. You can easily access the terrace using the elevator inside the casino.
25. Vinewood Racetrack
One Yuanbao is hidden among the seating stands of the horse racing venue, Vinewood Racetrack, just beside the casino. Enter the racetrack, and then head towards the stand on the right side of the entrance. Try to locate the Yuanbao following the jingle and vibrations.
26. Mirror Park
This collectible is hidden at the backside of the Mirror Park, in the marked location.
27. Harmony
In the Harmony area, you will find one Yuanbao in the backroom of the 24/7 Supermarket. Be careful of the shop owner alerting the police and attacking you while you walk into the restricted area.
28. Fort Zancudo Entrance
You will find a Yuanbao atop a barrel at the entrance of Fort Zancudo Military Base. However, be aware of the guard, as he will start shooting you as you approach the gate if you are armed.
29. North Chumash Beach
The next collectible is hidden on North Chumash Beach. There is a campsite filled with tourists, and you will find the Yuanbao in that camp atop a table.
In the Chilliad Mountains, you will find a Yuanbao in the marked location, near a power pole on a small hilltop.
31. Paleto Bay
One Yuanbao can be found in the Paleto Bay area on a bench beside a small shop (shown on the map).
32. Paleto Bay
Another Yuanbao in the Paleto Bay area is behind an auto repair shop on the back of a truck.
33. Mount Gordo
This Yuanbao is hidden along the railway tracks in Mount Gordo (location shown in the screenshot).
34. Grapeseed
The Yuanbao is located at the Alamo Fruit Market in the Grapeseed area.
35. Alamo Sea
This one is at the end of a wooden pier extending into the Alamo Sea.
36. Sandy Shores
The final Yuanbao can be found on the rooftop of a house in the Sandy Shores area. You can climb up to the rooftop easily by climbing the walls.
GTA Online Yuanbao Collectibles Rewards & Event Deadline
You will receive $888 and 888 RP for each Yuanbao you acquire; thus, if you gather all 36 collectibles, you may make $31,968 and 31,968 RP. You will receive an additional $88,888 for completing the challenge after you have gathered all the collectibles, making your total earnings $119,968.
The limited-time event is a great way to stack up easy money while celebrating the Lunar New Year in style. In addition, players will receive a unique Gold Snake Santo Capra Outfit that is only available during this event, which ends on Wednesday, February 12.
