When you first start out inHello Kitty Island Adventure, Fast Travel is not available. After exploring the island for a little while, meeting someiconic and familiar Sanrio characters, and completing quests, you may start to feel a bit tired of walking to get everywhere. Thankfully, the game does have a Fast Travel system.
Once you reach the second area, the Spooky Swamp, theHello Kitty Island AdventureFast Travel system will become available. This guide explains what you need to do to unlock Fast Travel inHello Kitty Island Adventureand what you must do to activate all Fast Travel Points spread throughout the world.
How To Fast Travel In Hello Kitty Island Adventure
First, Unlock The Fast Travel Mailbox System
You have probably found many Mailboxes inHello Kitty Island Adventurewhile exploring, but they don’t do anything until you get to the Spooky Swamp. After you complete the ‘Power Up The Gate’ quest (which requires the Yellow Power Crystals),head into the Spooky Swamp and go north to eventually find Kuromi.
Kuromi is a white rabbit with a black jester’s hatwho will attempt to spook youin the Spooky Swamp. After finding her for the first time, she will walk to the center of the swamp and stand next to a Mailbox. Here,she will ask you to deliver a Pumpkin to My Melody.
Activate the Mailboxnext to Kuromi, then run back to the main island and head into My Melody’s shop. Gift her the Pumpkin, and she will ask you tobring Kuromi a Coastal Potted Plantas a thank you.
Cinnomoroll will overhear this request and offer toteach you how to use Fast Travel Mailboxes. Follow Cinnomoroll outside to the Resort Plaza Mailbox, where she will teach you how to use the Mailboxes. Afterthe incredibly cute Cinnomorollteleports away, walk up and activate the Mailbox. This will add it to your list of Fast Travel locations inHello Kitty Island Adventure.
To Fast Travel, Select An Activated Mailbox On Your Map
Once you have activated a Fast Travel Mailbox, it will become a Fast Travel Point on your world map. Open up the map by pressing left on the D-pad or by selecting the Map app in your Phone.
On the left, you will see afull list of all Fast Travel pointsinHello Kitty Island Adventurethat you have unlocked. Right now, youshould have the Resort Plaza and Spooky Swamp Fast Travel points.
To Fast Travel,Hello Kitty Island Adventureplayers caneither select a location from the left-side list, orscroll directly over the Fast Travel Mailbox locationand select it.
The screen will go dark, and almost immediately you will appear at the Fast Travel Mailbox you selected. It’s not exactlya realistic Fast Travel system, but it’s fast!
No time passes when you Fast Travel, and youdo not need to beata Mailbox to use the Fast Travel system– you’re able to Fast Travel any time you are outdoors by simply opening your map and selecting a spot. Fast Travel does not work in interior areas, though, it only works in the open world.
