How To Unlock The Snorkel In Hello Kitty Island Adventure
First, Get The Flippers, Then Increase Your Friendship With Kuromi
To get the Snorkel, you must complete the quest ‘Deep Diving’ and then craft one using the rewarded Snorkel Recipe. There area few Quest prerequisitesto learn how to dive inHello Kitty Island Adventure.
Kuromi likes Spooky things – especially Jack-O-Lanterns. Gift her a few Jack-O-Lanterns (and use a Friendship Blossom for more daily Gifts) to raise her Friendship level up to 6 after you Survive the Mansion.

When she reaches Friendship Level 6, go northwest of the Spooky Swamp fast travel point to find her by a small pond. Talk to Kuromi and she will ask you to find her lost locket in the water. She will lend you her own Snorkel and begin the ‘Deep Diving’ quest.
‘Deep Diving’ Quest & How To Dive In Hello Kitty Island Adventure
To dive in,Hello Kitty Island Adventureplayers must jump into the water, then dip under the surface by going down with the right analog stick (or input displayed on the right of the screen). You can control how deep you go with the analog stick, but be careful, because you will lose Stamina faster as you go deeper underwater.
Rising to the surface consumes significantly less Stamina, so if you are in danger of drowning, head back up to regenerate Stamina.

Kuromi’s locket is not far from the dock, and you don’t need any Golden Stamina Apple upgrades to dive deep enough to find it.Swim about two or three seconds up from the dockwhere Kuromi is standing, then dive underwater.
Find Kuromi’s Locket, Then Craft A Snorkel Of Your Own
You shouldfind Kuromi’s Locket on the lakebed just below the end of the dock.Pick it up, then swim to the surface and Gift it to Kuromi to complete ‘Deep Diving’. She will take back her Snorkel and refuse to let you use it again.
Instead, Kuromi willgift you a Snorkel Recipe. Tocraft a Snorkel, you need 2x Ingot, 10x Rubber, and 2x Spark.

Once you have all materials, head back to Chococat’s crafting tableand make your very own Snorkel! Just like the Flippers, the Snorkel is always equippedand will prompt the Dive In action when you enter deep enough water.
For the most part, the central sea of theHello Kitty Island Adventuremap is all divable water– and now, you canfinally meet Hangyodonand deliver the final Welcome Gift for My Melody!
