How To Start ‘The Laziest Egg’ Quest
To start ‘The Laziest Egg’, players must first complete the preliminary quest ‘Gudetama Snap’. After getting the Camera, you must take a picture of the Gudetama that Pochacco points out to complete this quest. Then, you must take a total of six Gudetama pictures before ‘The Laziest Egg’ quest unlocks.
you may do this before unlocking theYellow Power Crystal quest, but you may need Flippers or a Snorkel to find the Tophat Gudetama each week.
Once you have found 6x Gudetama, talk to Pochacco and he will tell you about a strange Gudetama that wears a strange tophat. He will ask you to look for this strange Gudetama location and take a picture if you find it.

When you pick up ‘The Laziest Egg’ the quest pop-up will briefly display an image of the Gudetama you are looking for – a Gudetama with a mustache who is sitting down and wearing a purple, extravagant tophat. The Tophat Gudetama location is not set in stone – every Sunday night, it will appear in a different location for the week.
For example, for the week ofJanuary 27, 2025 to June 04, 2025, the Tophat Gudetama can be found on the Mount Hothead Dock.
To get this Tophat Gudetama,Hello Kitty Island Adventureplayers should walk to the southeastern corner of the Mount Hothead landmass to find the Dock (which is visible on the map, too). Head to the very end of the dock to find this Tophat Gudetama.
Tips To Find The Tophat Gudetama Location Every Week
During the week of June 26, 2025 to July 10, 2025, the Tophat Gudetama will move, and you won’t find it on the Mount Hothead dock anymore. Every week after, the Tophat Gudetama will move to a completely new spot.

When you find the Tophat Gudetama, take a selfie withthe cute Sanrio character, then return to Pochacco to complete ‘The Laziest Egg’ weekly quest. Every time you complete this weekly quest, you will be rewarded with a random Gudetama-related Crafting Recipe.
