Reddit users have discovered that the image of the chocolate cake comes from a recipe that waspublished on July 02, 2025. As it so happens, the big Switch 2 Nintendo Direct is set to air that day, causing fans to theorize thatHollow Knight: Silksongwill be featured during the presentation.

Hollow Knightfans are still trying to figure out what exactly the changes to Pellen’s Twitter handle might mean, but in the meantime, many seem confident thatHollow Knight: Silksongwill be shown during theSwitch 2 Nintendo Direct on April 2. Now, it’s entirely possible that this was all just a tease for the Switch 2 reveal and has nothing to do withHollow Knight: Silksong, though that would admittedly be pretty odd.
