TheDynasty Warriorsfranchise is well known for its plentiful side content, and this is once again the case withDynasty Warriors: Origins. In addition to70 main story battles spread across three different campaigns, players will be able to take part in 48 optional missions and an unlimited amount of skirmishes, while also improving their bond with some of the game’s many officers.
Unfortunately, this is one of those games in which some of the side content can only be tackled at certain points in the story, effectively forcing players to either complete it there and then or skip it entirely, unless they want to have to replay the entire chapter again later on. With this in mind, prospective buyers may be wondering how long it takes to beatDynasty Warriors: Origins.

All Content (Ultimate Warrior Difficulty Setting)
60 Hours
Completing one of the three campaigns inDynasty Warriors: Originswill take players around 22 hours. That’s assuming they complete all of the optional missions and bond-raising opportunities, so those looking to shave a bit of time off of this total can do so by skipping the aforementioned side content and focusing solely on main story battles. As mentioned above, though, there’s no simple way to replay this content later on if it’s skipped, so it’s better to complete it as and when it becomes available.
Althoughall threeDynasty Warriors: Originscampaignsare different when it comes to their stories, they all have the first two chapters in common and are around the same length. Rather than starting over from the beginning, those who complete the game once are able to pick things back up at the beginning of Chapter 3 so that they can experience the other two campaigns without having to replay any battles. As a result, the other two campaigns will take around 12 hours each; again, with side content included.

Throw in an extra hour or two for unlocking all of the true endings and completing the final optional mission, andthose hoping to complete everything inDynasty Warriors: Originscan expect to spend around 48 hours. If players wanted to complete every battle onthe Ultimate Warrior difficulty setting(which unlocks after completing the story once), it could end up taking quite a bit longer, although they can save themselves some time by switching to Ultimate Warrior as soon as they unlock it and skipping cutscenes on any battles they need to replay.
