In total, there areeight CODE levelsfor players to progress through inFreedom Wars Remastered. Once you upgrade your CODE level, you can’t go backward, so don’t worry about accidentally increasing your prison sentence above the level you needed to get it to for your current CODE, especially when playing onDeadly Sinner Mode. Every time you rank up your CODE level, you’ll get access to more Entitlements to purchase, along with giving you more operations to try and complete.
How To Increase Your CODE Level In Freedom Wars Remastered
By talking to your Accessory in your cell you’re able to ask too, “Check CODE Upgrade Conditions”. Usually, you’ll need to get your prison sentence to a certain year milestone along with unlocking specific Entitlements. You can check this menu anytime in your cell, so be sure to check before spending all your Entitlement Points on other less-useful upgrades otherwise you’ll have todonate resourcesto get more.
Donating just one higher-end resource and weapon can usually give enough points for alot of Entitlements.

While you’ll need to complete all the conditions from that list to rank up your CODE, yourcurrent CODE level is also closely tied to the main story. You have to complete the main story missions and operations along with those conditions in order to complete the CODE exam which is also a part of the story. Sometimes the main story will also double as a replacement for the CODE exam to reach the next level.
Operations are also separated into CODE levels will is a general indicator of difficulty. You’ll complete most operations as you progress through the story of a CODE, though sometimes a few optional operations will open up after you progress to help those who may not be fully prepared for the missions of their new CODE level.
