Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2is one of the most realistic and immersive games ever made, and the player must take care of every aspect of Henry, from solving his hunger to repairing his clothes. Henry, in turn, will also want to take care of his horse, especially when it gets dirty.
While most players may have figured outhow to clean Henry and his clothes, not as many players knowhow to clean their horse inKCD2. This is usually required after a fight, with blood covering the horse and saddle.
How To Clean Your Horse In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
To clean your horse inKCD2, players will need tofind a horse traderor groom, such as the one in Semine.Talk to them during the dayand there is an option to’wash horse'.
Unfortunately, the nomad horse handler Mikolai doesn’t appear to offer this service.
The base price for this is200 Groschen, but as always, players should try andhaggle to reduce the price. Players should also bear in mind that it will takean hourfor the horse to be cleaned.Time will simply skip, so don’t do this if Henry has to be somewhere in a hurry.
Thankfully, thehorse’s tack, such as the saddle, harness, and bridle all getcleaned too.
How To Clean Your Saddle & Horse’s Tack In KCD2
If playerscan’t currently affordto have their horse properly washed, they canclean their saddle and other horse tack themselves. They will see that these are dirty when they have a brown icon next to them in the menu.
To wash their horse’s gear, players will first need some soap, which can be bought from a merchant. Then,head to a laundry site, such as the one near the nomad’s camp, or at the pond in Semine.
Landry sites appear on the map as tubs of water with clothes hanging out.
Go into theinventoryand switch to thehorse tab. Unequip the saddle, bridle, horseshoes, and any other horse tack such as a fancy caparison. Players will then need to transfer this to their main inventory.
Finally,hold down A/Cross/E Keywhere the mini pier of the laundry site meets the water.Select all the horse tack, as well as any dirty clothes, and thenconfirm to wash.
Players who can’t afford to wash their horse and only their tack will be glad to know that their horse emerges clean after some main quest cutscenes.
