InDivinity: Original Sin 2, the final act presents some ofthe most challenging enemy types. Among them are theCursed Revenants, who ambush you when you visit the charred consulate of lizards in the city of Arx.
At first, these revenants appear to be ordinary lizards. However, killing one spawns an invincible Infernal Ego portal, capable of resurrecting these creatures. Successfully defeating the revenants involves understanding the source of their resurrection and eliminating it.

Cursed Revanents Are Invincible
Unlike most battles inDivinity: Original Sin 2, brute force combat strategies fail against the Cursed Revenants. you’re able to keep killing these creatures, but they will continuously respawn to make your life difficult. When you kill a revenant, it leaves behind an Infernal Ego portal that is immune to all damage types.
If you pay attention to the battlefield, you’ll notice that both the Cursed Revenants and their resurrection portals—the Infernal Egos—position themselves on necrofire surfaces. Removing the necrofire will prevent the Infernal Egos and, consequently, the Cursed Revenants from spawning. However, this is easier said than done,as necrofire, unlike regular fire, is immune toHydrosophist spells like Rain.
