There are lots of ways players can change up their loadout for operations inFreedom Wars Remastered. While bigger pieces to your build such as your weapons andThrones will be changedout less often, Combat Items are consumables that have a wide range of uses, and are almost all finite resources.

You’ll occasionally get more combat items by completing operations, though you won’t always get enough to really stack up for another operation. At the beginning of the game, you’ll also only be able to equip one Combat Item at a time; here’s how to fix both of those problems.

How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

Equipping more Combat Items first requires you to get the right Entitlements. Whenever you’re in your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and select, “Claim Entitlements”. From there, go to the Equipment section of the Entitlements and tab over to the right once to see theOne-Item Permit option at the top. Every permit below will allow you to equip more Combat Items to a total of four.

The story-based limitations on these Permits are quickly reached, and you’ll be able topurchase all four permits by the time you reach CODE level 3. You also won’t see the later permits as they will only appear after you purchase the Permit before. Equipping a Combat Item will also let you equip the entire stack, so choosing to equip a Frag Grenade will really give you as many as you currently have at the start of the Operation.

YourAccessory can also equip one Combat Item, though it is used at their discretion.

Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

After progressing the main story past just the first few missions, you’ll get access to the HUB area called The Warren. There will be astore called Zakkafound along the right side of The Warren along the upper story. While you’re able to purchase weapons here, you can also choose the Buy Items option to open up the Munitions and Medical Supplies lists.

Combat Items arepriced individually, and buying a lot of one can cost a lot of Entitlement Points, so needing a lot of Medkits is one of the few reasons you shoulddonate a lot of old resources. Combat Items can occasionally be rewards for Operations, but this is not a reliable method for farming them due to the time they take to clear and the chance of you using more Combat Items than you get.
