Skill Points are earned in battle inDynasty Warriors: Origins, letting you unlock new skills from various skill trees depending on your current rank. No matter what rank you are and what skill tree you are unlocking new perks in, they will all make you more effective in combat or give you access to new Battle Arts.
Individual skills from even the lowest tree can get fairly expensive early into the game, making it important to complete some of the side content in the game to verify you’re strong enough for the battle ahead no matter whatdifficulty you choose. Here are some more efficient ways for farming Skill Points outside of just completing the main battles.
How To Farm Skill Points Fast In Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Three Skill Points are givenevery time you defeat 100 enemies in battle. While you’ll defeat a lot of enemies in main battles, the loss conditions for these battles don’t make them ideal places to grind for Skill Points, as you should always focus on officers to help actually win the battle. Instead, explore the overworld and find skirmishes nearby, with any one working for this method.
In a Skirmish,ignore the enemy officersand instead focus on cutting through the waves of endlessly spawning enemies to keep getting three Skill Points for every 100 kills. These Skirmishes don’t have any loss conditions, and as long as you don’t die, the skirmish will keep going until you kill the required officers. By ignoring the officers, you can continue to kill the waves of enemies to kill 100 every minute or so depending on the Skirmish, as some spawn more enemies than others.
Keep fighting in the same Skirmish until your health gets too low to keep going, and save just enough to take out the last officer and win the battle. You’ll also get a few bonus skill points for winning the Skirmish, but this strategy lets you easily get 50 Skill Points in only a few minutes. Outside of farming Skirmishes, you may also get rewarded Skill Points for completing Training objectives. As you progress through the main story and meet new characters, you’ll be able totalk to some ofthem in the overworldwhere they will assign you Training objectives. Many of these Training objectives are incredibly easy and can be completed simply by playing the game without thinking about them. They can also completed any time in any battles to get additional Skill Points, so be sure to talk to these characters whenever they are found.
