Even with a lot of stamina and patience, traveling far distances inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2can take a lot of time. There are also many reasons to jump back and forth between towns you’ve already visited, but luckily, fast traveling can help make some of that backtracking a faster process.
Fast Traveling can only be done to certain places, but it can also help you save a lot of time after some initial exploration, just be sure to alsosave your progress. Here’s how to fast travel along with some of the additional things to look out for when doing so, to make your trips quick and painless.

Fast traveling can only be done to specific locations on the map, indicated by theblue shield with the yellow wheel within. These icons are usually found in the center of major towns, though you’ll have to travel to that town either on foot or by horse first to unlock it as a fast-travel location. While you may only go to specific locations, you’re able to fast travel from just about any outdoor location in the game.
To Fast Travel,open the map eitherusing M on keyboardor up on the d-pad for controllers. From there, hover over whatever town you want to fast-travel and select the fast-travel icon close to the center of town. After selecting to fast travel, the map icon of Henry will take the most straightforward route to that location using major roads. While this process is mostly painless, there are a few things to think about when fast traveling.

While it’s a fast travel for you as the player, Henry still has to make the journey from one location to another. While fast traveling, the following status' will still decrease as if you were naturally playing the game:
Before trying to fast travel, ensure you eat and are otherwise ready for the journey as it can accidentally be fatal for you if it’s too far and Henry isn’t prepared. The other major thing to worry about istown guards stopping you as you enter the new town. If this happens, they will ask to stop and search you for stolen goods and will arrest you if any are found.

While you can choose to ignore the stop, this will still raise their alert and cause you issues.
