InPath of Exile 2, the Megalomaniac Diamond is a unique Jewel that can be a game-changer for an endgame build if rolled favorably. Finding one that complements a build can be the last piece of the puzzle to push a character that merely deals a lot of damage to become game-breakingly powerful.
Naturally, finding one is no easy task, and finding one that’s useful for a build is harder still. Players will need to not only defeat one of the strongest bosses in all ofPoE 2but also get RNG on their side. Here’s the breakdown.

How to Get Megalomaniac Diamond in PoE 2
The Megalomaniac Diamond is an exclusive drop from Kosis, the Revelation, theDelirium pinnacle bossat difficulty 4.
Where to Find Kosis, the Revelation
The pinnacle variant of Kosis, the Revelation can be fought byusing The Simulacrum at theRealmgatein the Atlas. To obtain a Simulacrum, players will either have to combine 300 Simulacrum Splinters by farming Delirium-instilled Waystones and Delirium nodes or by buying one from the currency exchange/trade site.
How to Increase The Simulacrum Difficulty to +4
The only way to increase the difficulty of The Simulacrum is toearn Delirium Atlas points by completing The Simulacrum at regular difficulty. After a player beats the pinnacle boss encounter once, they will obtain 2 Delirium Atlas points, which can be used to increase the difficulty by +1. After doing so four times, they will be able to increase the difficulty to +4, unlocking the encounter with Kosis, the Revelation at the highest possible difficulty. Only this variant of Kosis, the Revelation will drop Megalomaniac Diamonds.
Kosis, the Revelation can spawn randomly in regular Delirium maps. This variant will never drop a Megalomaniac Diamond or other uniques exclusive to the pinnacle variant.

How Does Megalomaniac Diamond Work in PoE 2
A Megalomaniac Diamond has 2-3 modifiers that do one thing and one thing only:allocate Notables in the passive skill tree. Each modifier on a Megalomaniac Diamond will automatically allocate the inscribed Notables passive skill as soon as it issocketed in a Jewel socket, eliminating the need to path toward this skill in the tree. Essentially, this works the same as Anointing an Amulet, but you’re able to do so with two or three passive skills at once, instead of just one.
you’re able to only have 1 Megalomaniac Diamond in a skill tree at one time.

Owing to the large number of Notables on the passive tree, a Megalomaniac Diamond’s value is extremely unpredictable. A Megalomaniac with 3 Notables which are useful for a meta build can be worth hundreds of Divine Orbs, whereas if a Megalomaniac only offers Notables that don’t complement a build, it’s worth less than a Regal Orb.
A Megalomaniac Diamond cannot be modified since it is always corrupted on spawn, like theFrom Nothing Diamond, which means you cannot use aVaal Orbto influence this Jewel in any way. As a result, the only realistic way to obtain a useful Megalomaniac Diamond is to trade with other players.

What Are Notables?
There are three types of passive skill nodes in the passive skill tree:
There are literally hundreds of Notables in the passive skill tree, which makes obtaining the perfect Megalomaniac Diamond on your own an extremely unlikely occurrence, if not an outright impossibility.
