Like in some other MMOs, pets inDiablo 4are more than just for show. They’ll follow players around and pick stuff up for them, making the overall experience less of a hassle than usual. There are a number of pets in the game so far, and Season 7 just added Dorian, a raven that totally fits the whole witchcraft theme this time around.

Getting Dorian is going to involve a lot of work, and if you’re trying to level up andreach the endgame inDiablo 4as quickly as possible, then you might want to get this pet along the way. Here’s what you need to do.

How to Get Dorian the Raven in Diablo 4

To unlock this flying pet,you need to finish all the chapters for the Season Journey in Season of Witchcraft. It’s simple enough, but given the scope of it, you’ll need to sink a fair amount of time to playingDiablo 4if you want to get Dorian.

There are seven Season Journey chapters that players need to complete, and they each have different numbers of objectives. However, you only need to complete ~80% of the objectives to progress to the next chapter. The objectives themselves are fairly simple and generic (complete dungeons, complete specific activities, etc), but the further you progress into the Season Journey, the harder they’ll become. Make sure toget a goodDiablo 4endgame buildgoing by then.

Season Journey Rewards

By completing Season Journey chapters, you’ll earn various rewards likecrafting material caches, lootboxes, titles, and Season Favors. They’re great for helping you progress through the game, especially once you hit Torment I and above.

Dorian is locked in the Destroyer chapter, which is the last part of Season of Witchcraft’s Season Journey. With it, you’ll get some material caches and an equipment box that contains an Ancestral Unique.

How to Equip Pets in Diablo 4

To set an active pet, visit an inn in the many major towns in the game, andinteract with the Wardrobe (represented by the closet icon on the minimap). From here, you may alter your armor cosmetics, character appearance, and pets. The latter has a dedicated tab that shows all the pets you’ve unlocked — once you finish the Destroyer Season Journey chapter, Dorian should be in that tab along withother pets you’ve unlocked inDiablo 4.

Pets will follow you around wherever you go. More importantly, they’ll automatically scoop up any gold and crafting materials that drop from monsters. It’s a quality of life improvement for sure, especially in high-traffic open-world areas where gold and materials can easily pile up and fill your screen.
