How to Build a Factory in Civilization 7
Factory Resources can only be slotted in a settlement that has a Factory. This building isn’t available from the get-go once players reach the Modern Age; to build it, the required Technology must be uncovered.
To unlock the ability to unlock the Factory building inCivilization 7, gamers must research the Mass Production Technology. The Mass Production Tech can be researched in the Modern Age, once players have unlockedMilitary ScienceandIndustrialization or Combustion.
Factories can only be built in settlements that are connected to the Capital by railroad. Therefore, before players start spamming out Factories, they’ll have to build a Railroad system. How to Slot Factory Resources in Civilization 7
Once gamers have connected their settlement to the Capital and built their first Factory, they can assign a Factory Resource to that settlement. Resource allocation will become available once a new resource is acquired. It is then that players will get the chance to slot their Factory Resource into their settlement.
When players get access to the Resources menu, they will have to pick a Factory Resource and assign it to a settlement. The resource will appear in the Resources bar as well as next to the Factory icon on the right side; this is to indicate what that settlement’s factory produces, asplayers can only choose one Factory Resource for a settlement. Thankfully, they can place multiples of that resource in the settlement to increase their bonuses.
