Should You Upgrade Weapons In Freedom Wars Remastered?
Most missions during the early stages of the main story don’t offer great rewards in terms of high-Grade weapons. While you can purchase weapons and othercombat items from Zakka in The Warren, most of these are limited to Grade Level 1, making upgrading almost essential. One of your CODE 3 Exams requires claiming higher Grade Development Facility Permits. With these permits, you can upgrade any weapon of your choice and stick with it,donating Low-Grade weaponsfound during missions for a reduced sentence and additional Entitlement Points.
The first upgrade in the Weapon Development Facility unlocks the “In Search of the Strongest Weapon” trophy/achievement, with more achievements tied to the upgrading system, making it appealing for trophy enthusiasts. The damage difference between two weapons of different Grades is significant, encouraging players to dedicate time to improving their gear.

Lastly, players can access theAbility Development Facilitywithin Facility Management, but this unlocks later in the game.
