Loot filters can be a great help inPath of Exile 2, especially once items start dropping by the dozens. They reduce screen clutter while simultaneously highlighting the most important stuff on the ground, making the looting experience feel smoother and more convenient.

Manually sorting and picking items up on console or with a controller can a bit tedious, but thankfully, players on PlayStation and Xbox can alsouse item filters just like PC players. Using filters on consoles is a little confusing, though, so here’s a short guide showing all the steps you need to do to get them up and running.

Finally, now that you’re following a loot filter on the official website, open your game and head to the Options menu. Go to the Game tab, and right at the very top of the menu is an Item Filter option. The filter you followed on the website should be in the drop-down menu. Select it, then click Save. From now on, items that drop in the game should now have different labels, colors, or even sound effects based on the filter you enabled.

Console loot filters worked prior to Patch 0.1.1 only if players owned Early Access keys for both PC and Console versions of the game.
