What Are Box Games in Infinity Nikki?

‘Box Games’is the colloquial term for Miraland’s version of casual board games, except these are constructed within boxes, like a diorama. They’re found throughout each region of Wishfield. Each area has a different type of box game that pertains to the history and lore of its inhabitants.

All of these box games make up what is called theFolklore Guide.you may find the Folklore Guide on the second app page of your Pear-Pal after speaking toCicetonear the Stylists’ Guild in Florawish (use the respectiveWarp Spireto travel there easily). This is where all the box games you’ve encountered and participated in are tallied, and they’re categorized by the type of game and region respectively. The different box games are as follows:

There are11 instancesof each type of game to find and win in each region, so you will need to explore thoroughly to find them all. They will always be found in and around inhabited areas rather than in the middle of nowhere.

As you play and win these games in each region, gaming savant Ciceto will make note of them and occasionally offer Nikki rewards for her efforts, based on her progress. This is in addition to the rewards you receive once you win each box game for the first time, which includes Diamonds and Blings. You will need to visit Ciceto at the same spot in Florawish to collect his rewards. To see if you have new rewards available, look for a note from Ciceto at the bottom of the Folklore Guide menu.

Crane Flight (Florawish)

Crane Flightis local to the starting area ofFlorawish(accessible from Chapter 1 ofmain story questline). Its rules are very simple and straightforward. You assume control of a paper crane and must navigate a preset path while dodging obstacles along the way until you reach the finish line. To avoid trees, lean your paper crane out of their way until you pass by.

More challenging instances of Crane Flight will also include boulders for you to dodge, and two paths that run parallel together instead of one. To avoid boulders in your way, you must quickly move to the other path. Be careful of sequences of obstacles that require you to move back and forth frequently while leaning your crane to one side or the other. If you bump into an obstacle, you will have to start the game over from the beginning. However, the pattern of obstacles will remain the same, so it will get easier to predict those hurdles each time until you win.

Marble King (Breezy Meadow)

Marble Kingis essentially Miraland’s version of soccer meets pinball. Above all, it requires you to have excellent aiming skills. The main objective is to launch the marble on a path that sends it into the goal on the opposite side of the board. Hitting any of the blockades scattered around the field is acceptable; in fact, you need to use them to help angle and leverage the marble into the goal itself.

Among Pieceys (Stoneville and Abandoned District)

Among Pieceyshas a simple objective, but it requires sharp eyes and a good memory. The game begins by showing you three Piecey-style nesting dolls and briefly deconstructs them to reveal which one has a littleFaewish Spritehidden inside. They then close back up and the game attempts to throw you off the trail by rearranging the dolls around several times, more and more quickly as well. Once it finishes, you then must pick which of the three dolls has the Faewish Sprite inside it.

If you watch closely enough during the change-up, you can follow the sequence and figure out where the original doll with the sprite lands. However, if you have difficulty following it, you can simply guess your way through until you get it right.

All instances of the Among Pieceys game are found in both Stoneville and the Abandoned District.

Wishing Orb Express (Wishing Woods)

Wishing Orb Expressis one of the more strategic box games inInfinity Nikki. It requires you to figure out your way across the board with just one tool — besides your brain, that is. You must guide the Faewish Sprite successfully through the trees until it reaches the yellow orb, which is the finish line.

To do that, you must use the chip tokens provided that each has an arrow indicated on them. These represent what direction the Faewish Sprite can turn and move in upon reaching it on the board, so you must place them in the correct spots. you may also turn the chips themselves to change the arrow directions. If the Faewish Sprite bumps into a tree along the way, the game will end, and you’ll need to start again.
