The anime’sfirst teaser trailer was released in 2023. While it may feel like it, this isn’t the first time the franchise has been seen in anime form, as there was a 2007Devil May Cryanime created by Capcom and produced by Madhouse, the famous studio behind countless hits from the 2000s and 2010s, includingDeath Note,Death Parade, the first season ofOne Punch Man, and more.

What’s different about this one is that it is helmed by the producer ofCastlevania, possibly one of the best adaptations of the current era that has seen immense success. The upcoming anime is being produced bystaff at Studio MIR (LOOKISM), and will premiere on Netflix on April 3.
